Re: MAF with Air Horn Velocity Stack
Josh, quick question about the MAF sensor readings and AFR...on a NA engine, wouldn't detonation/pre-ignition show up and be handled by the ECU and the knock sensor? And wouldnt it be possible to circumvent that issue by going up one grade in the fuel used? Now if the engine is running too lean then...

Re: GD/GG Impreza (WRX/STi) springs on BC/BF/BJ cars: UPDATE
I would love to lower the 91 wagon about an inch and wonder if the 09 wrx stuff would give me lower, stiffer and better damped than stock springs on gr2 struts...any thoughts? The 08 and newer impreza has multilink rear suspension, just like the 00 and newer legacy. So there's no way to make it wor...

Re: GD/GG Impreza (WRX/STi) springs on BC/BF/BJ cars: UPDATE
Ok got questions for u guys...does anyone know what the spring rates of the various available springs are? I have available to me a set of 2009 wrx struts and springs assembled and would love to know how they might work on my 91 legacy wagon or is that even possible? Any ideas?

Intercooler mounting location...better on top or out front?
Ok, here is what my understanding of the situation is and anyone that has done testing and knows what the effects of the two possible locations are I welcome them to weigh in on this discussion. I am considering turbo-ing my old wagon. and I believe the reason the factory uses the top mount is to mi...

Re: Front and rear bars for 91 L wagon or at least a rear ba
I am probably going to upgrade rear bar bushings to as hard a material as I can go and see if that gives me enough bar to neutralize handling...and leave well enough alone if it does. As it stands, it sticks as well in the corners as my 2009 WRX does according to the butt g-meter, so hard to complai...

Re: Front and rear bars for 91 L wagon or at least a rear ba
to Pntaste and Souper....I spent over an hour online with whiteline the other day...and they came up with nothing that would fit the rear of the car. Basically wasted my time and then the email they were to send me with specific information never arrived...or at least not yet. So whiteline may not g...

Re: acceptable tire size range
205/50-16 is a good working size too, nearly the same as a 195/65-14 in height and keeps the gearing about the same.

Re: Tire preferences
I run the 205/50-16 sumitomos all season and while they are new enough I have no idea what the real life wear will be, they are grippy and have a 500 treadwear rating...should hold up well for spirited street driving like I do. lots of back roads maybe an occasional autocross if I feel froggy. Its a...

Auto Dynasty is the seller 119 bucks and unequal length dual port like for an impreza...Cheap enough that they are worth a try.

Re: Header Fitment questions
I would very much like to have an equal length header and free flowing cat to go with the custom cat back I had put on a while back. I have no doubt it would wake it up a bit. What works on a 91 2.2?

Re: Front and rear bars for 91 L wagon or at least a rear ba
Ok, my bad, quick update on situation...it does indeed have a bar but it wasnt where I looked lol...yeah I know blind in one eye cant see out of the other. Would still like to go with larger bars at both ends...I think I will start with upgrading the bar bushings and see what that gets me...might be...

Front and rear bars for 91 L wagon or at least a rear bar?
Ok guys I have serious question here...I have a 91 Legacy L wagon with factory front bar and no rear bar, I want to put a set of bars on the car if possible. Failing that I would settle for a small rear bar to go with the factory front bar. Trouble is, I have not been able to find a resource for eit...
