WTF inconsistant boost/acceleration
I'm stumped, so I'll ask you guys, the experts. Sometimes when I'm starting from a stop. I'll roll on throttle and i'll only get up to 5 pounds of boost (>3,000 rpm). It doensn't pull very hard--Same thing when I'm rolling along, I'll dip into the throtle and only get that 5 pounds of boost and it w...
Guys, thanks for the insight and advice. I'm a noob with this and appreciate the help. I think I have enough guts to yank the old one out and stuff a new one in. I'll call Jerry and order one tomorrow. I guess it's like the time I had to install a new window into an exsisting wall. It was tough to p...

TD05-16g
Deadbolt says that their TD05-16 will bolt up but there will be minor modifications to make it fit properly. Has anyone here done the install of the TH05h-16g with the clocked 90º inlet? I thought I saw that the only real problems were with the cooling and oil lines. Anyone done this installation? p...

I found a vf11 for sale but it has a different housing number that what I've seen here as the "right " number.
The number I've seen as the correct housing number is VF119007 (thanks THAWA)
The one I found has a housing number of VF119011
My question is will this bolt up to my car.

IAC Questions
Has anyone here removed and refurbished their IAC? I've seen postings on other boards about WRXs being able to clean theirs out and replacing it. Will this work with ours? Any thing that I need to watch out for as I attempt to remove and replace the IAC?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sunroof leak Fixed!!
I got my sunroof problem fixed with out removing the headliner/sunroof. I first removed both front mudflaps and took all the garbage that collects back there out and left them off while I worked on clearing the tubes. Next I took some line from my stringtrimmer (.080) and pushed it down the tubes in...

Recommendations for headlights
Does anyone have experience with replacement headlight bulbs (H4) for our cars? I put a set of PIAAs (blue plasma) into my wife's minivan and it isn't as good as the stock Sylvania white (9007). Any one own the Hella +50s?

another way
I found that using a plastic cleaner works best. (McKay #321). It is formulated to remove stuff without changing the surface. That McKay stuff is made for plastic windows on convertables, and lens on helmets. It works great.
