I have on on my GT (97) with a PRM inline filter....unfortunately, I didn't realize how tightly sealed you really need your fender to be when doing this, if you drive 80 in six inches of snow for hours on end.... So if its really a 2.2, and its really a sohc like you say, then this is a legacy turbo engine. But then it must be a single turbo, not twin. No IC right....maybe its just an NA 2.2? They are cheap and common, good to rip someone off with....Did they even use NA EJ22's in JDM models?

Well, there is no impreza with twin turbos, not from the factory, not from STI. There are legacies....however, there are no 2.2 twin turbos made by subaru at all. I need to replace my plug wires. I'd like to get something aftermarket, nice silicon whatever. But I have a phase II EJ25 in my 97 GT. (boostjunkies ex) and I have a 97 GT diamond coilpack. Hence my plug wire dilemma. I've posted about this on nasoic, didn't get much help. My turbos away for the win...

Hello all... Did a search, but not too much directly addressing this issue, with slotted rotors, how is brake pad wear affected? I am in need of front breaks, so I am getting cryo treated rotors and some hawk hps pads (probably, maybe axxiss ultimates or mintex) and can't decide about slotted rotors...

I have always heard great things about mintex pads, and have had good experiences with them as well (cept for the dust) but I've also heard good things about axxiss metalmaster and ultimates...well, anyways, they are made by bendix mintex...are these the same companies?

maybe some aux low beams...I know there are some HID ones out now, and hella used to make halogen ones, I don't know if they still do...

Not to jump in on your nice thread...but does anyone know if phase I DOHC EJ25 valve cover gaskets are the same as EJ20G ones? and the spark plug hole seals, etc? I figure its a long shot...
