When you have our stock Legacy's with the SOHC, timing belt failure wont blow up your engine because it is non-interference. The opposite goes for DOHC. 5x100 wheel spacers are easily found on ebay, anywhere from 5-25mm. I don't know the disadvantages of using spacers, but it seems to be the answer to the odd offset we run.
