Acually, subaru told me to torque the bolt to 140ft-lbs, but i dont have the fancy tool to hold the pulley, but a pulley holder, its like a belt that wraps around the pulley, but me and my dad could only get it to 100ft-lbs, so i drove it to my great local subaru dealer 40km away , and got a oil cha...

OK, pulled the fuse for like 1 1/2 hour and i turned on the car, backed it onto the driveway, let it idle in park, until it warmed up, once 100percent warmed up, i turned it off for 5mins, then i turned it back on, went around the block a few times going slow, then came back, put it in park, let it ...

You know what, in gears 1 and 2 there is defininitly less slippage, well its like 1milsecond then the rear kicks in 50/50 in 1st gear, and in D ONLY some times, some times, it wants to kick in, but i went up to 6000RPMS on a wet road taking off, not good, when u own a car with AWD. Think i should re...

AWD delay to kick in?

ALways wanted to get this problem sorted out. Now when i floor it in rain the car moves a little but the front wheels spin for a pretty long time before the rear wheels kick in. Why is this? Should i reset the TCU? Tranny oil change? The solenoid and clutch packs in the rear a brand new. Any ideas? ...

Maybe you should stop gunning it. And if they gave you a 1500cdn quote, they should've stuck by it, unless of course they found new problems that you asked them to fix. EXACTLY, i told my dad, but he just doesnt let me fight nothing, they DIDNT SAY NOTHING about what they were doing, i would call t...

[quote="wiscon_mark"]okay, your engine is definitely not causing the body of the car to flex. The frame would have to be made out of tin foil. If you're just hearing a little crack type noise, it's probably nothing and you should associate it as part of the character of the car. Wind noise...

Most of these are phantom problems. You do not have body flex unless you're absolutely throwing your car around. edit: A new TCU?! WTF. and the stupid shop fucked me upp, they said 1500CDN for the drivesolenoid and clutch packs, then it ended up beign a 3000 dollar job, because after they opened it...
