I have a present (and quick) need for headlamps - my car just failed VA inspection for bad adjusted / unbracketed headlamp in a front left slightly wrecked corner (after passing for the past 5 years with the same headlight). Anyway, would LOVE some of these E-code's and the Osrams. Can anyone recomm...

I saw an outback with 225/X/16 tires and wheels. Any idea if a tire/wheel combo this wide will work on a 94 wagon? I've had 2 sets of WRX wheels (02 and 05) on my car, and I think the look of going from 205 width to 225 width would be nice... if it wouldn't rub. I know the wheel/tire height is signi...

That's cool (or that sucks... I guess it depends). So do I need to replace the starter, or is there something else I can try to take care of the solenoid contacts? I'm near the end... and don't wanna be stranded. Today after work it was 5 minutes without a single click (hot and humid), but then I st...

Clutch Switch
My car has been getting harder and harder to start because the clutch isn't completing the circuit when you depress it. If it does connect it fires right up, but no clicks or nothin when it does not connect the circuit. Any idea how difficult it is to replace this switch (how much it costs)... or if...

Well, 3 hours of labor (at $45/hr) later I have two new front bearings and my problems are solved. $200 for the total job (I brought in bearings - $60). Wish they'd done 2 hours, but hell, I'm happy to be able to hear my radio again! ... now if the droning from the rears (which I couldn't hear over ...

Thanks for the good reply 93leg. That's what I was thinking about hub vs. bearing, and its good to confirm that later model years should fit. I decided to get bearings (Timken - $30 each) for the front two corners and I'll have to do the back two corners soonish (these original hubs/bearings are at ...

Hubs Hubs Hubs (as a cure for bad bearings?)
--> Can anyone provide a rundown on what hubs fit our cars from later model years? --> Also factors that may make a fitment difference (left/right, front/back, 4WD/FWD, etc)? --> Finally, whether it makes sense to replace hubs as an easier/cheaper way of replacing burnt-out bearings. (ALL my bearing...

Scion Wheels/Tires
Does anyone have Scion wheels/tires up and running? They look pretty sweet and I'm guessing there is going to be a flood on the market at some point. Check out the pic at the bottom of this auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Subaru-Legacy-Impreza-17-wheels-and-tires-Baja-Outback_W0QQcmdZViewIte...

Nope, stock wheels and stock size tires for the first 200k... and yet, when speed was calibrated with time and mileposts on the highway, my speedo used to read about 10% too fast. Same thing on my Dad's 91 N/A 5MT. And, my thinking is as follows... If the speedo is reading 10% too fast, it must be b...

1994 Legacy GT Questions
Are there any differences between the GT and a normal Legacy wagon other than the raised roof? You'd think GT means more power, but... if it ain't turbo... I ask because there's one with rel. low miles for sale in DC: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/car/92267921.html $3000 seems a bit steep thoug...
