because everything I have read says that using a stock 06 y pipe doesn't work so well because of the angle of the end of the y pipe. Like I stated in my opening message

Scotty, yes, the Y pipe inlet will not line up with turbo outlet.

Does the fluteing of the headlight housing scatter the beam from the projector?
