ummm....making the metal would not be the hard part. The bending of it into the little swoopy bits that make up an intercooler core would be the hard bit.

that would be the issue then. As far as I have read people have gone aftermarket y-pipes like the one I made a thread about because the 90elbow can be cut to length to line up with the td04

just an idea... but you should find a place to mount it in a place other than the stock location (for those of us that have intercooled) and a bracket to attach it somewhere.

looks good man, good job actually putting the filter in the fender. That is definitely a step further than most go. Instead of cleaning up the hole maybe just gut your stock airbox and put it back in place around the cai to clean that area up.

So I got my y-pipe. Yes, the y pipe pieces do not meet up perfectly, but I just used a bit of elbow grease and man muscle and everything worked perfectly.

I'll take pics to show how they do not meet perfectly.

get a reducer, then buy .75 rad hose. Cut your 1.25 hose, insert reducer, attach reducer to .75 hose and run hose to bpv

I am pretty sure anything off the shelf would be meant to go under your intake manifold. You said you are running different heads so I presume you are running a different intake manifold. If this is so and you have enough room to run a pipe under your manifold then you should be able to buy any wrx ...
