Vacuum hose sizing

So both pairs of digital calipers have dead batteries and I haven't been able to find this info out there. Anyone know what size of vacuum lines are used on the EJ22t for connection to the stock fuel pressure regulator. It's tiny and way smaller than usual vacuum lines like the one to the wastegate....

Re: EJ22t CDB shipped to the uk needed

Sorry guys been busy. Both ended up getting sold locally. Yep, same Grant Hughes here. Have an Impreza rally car with a 2.2T swap and a Merkur XR4ti rally car these days. Finally threw away the Colt tubular exhaust manifold I built after trying to get rid of it for a few years. The Colt was sold, ra...

Re: EJ22t CDB shipped to the uk needed

How many of these do you need and in what configuration? Just the block, or complete with rods and pistons or full long block? We have two currently in cars that could be sold.
Oh yeah, email me: dydxhughes@gmail.com
This is my first time on this board in almost three years.

We are running a Cusco plated center and front diff and the viscous rear with no problems yet. The car rips on dirt. But also has upgraded brakes with bias adjustment, which also helps to set up the car coming into corners at rally speed.

Prodrive didn't do in house suspension development until the 1997 season so you won't have much luck on finding out what they ran on the Legacy. There is a guy in ME at Colorado State that has an Impreza and is putting both the Tein and DMS on a shock dyno to figure out what is better. I decided upo...

You don't want a dogbox. You'd just end up having to rebuild it every few months. If anything buy a RA gearset or Quaiffe straight cut synchro set up.

I'll be there working service for about 5 different cars. Mostly the two DSMs. Aaron McConnell and Steve Bis' cars. Good luck. I had my entry in but have major motor problems develop after a hill climb two weeks ago and didn't have the time or money to rebuild the motor and finish the other two cars...

Can't find the EGR

I finally replaced my timing belt and it caused my check engine light to be reduced to one code (I had about 8 before hand, 90K on the timing belt). Now I only have code 35, which is Purge Control Solenoid for the EGR system. Anyhow, I've read through the Haynes manual for instructions on how to tes...

We built that car in four and half months and it had never been driven before our first practice run on Tuesday morning. We ended up not finishing due to the fact that the driveshafts on Audi's are a little short and pulled out of the cv on hairpins. Other than that our weekend went flawless. It was...

It's been three days now and no report on how Oregon Trails went??? We now have a fully prepped 1991 Eagle Talon PGT c...

I don't have any rubbing with mine on my FWD Legacy L. They are a little taller than stock so speedo will be off by a small amount. Search for the miata tire size calculator and you can get a good idea of stuff. I know it's been posted in this forum more than once.

The one I bought is plastic. I ran about two feet of heater hose between it and the bypass valve so some of the heat would diminish and keep it from melting. Hadn't thought about it falling apart though. I did run into a new issue with it however. When cruising at highway speed it starts to basicall...

BOV vent to atmosphere fix

I figured out a way on the rally car to vent to atmosphere and have the car still run nicely. I am using a stock Legacy turbo BOV (thanks Jason G) on my Colt and the problem was that under idle the valve was open and thus sucking a small amount of air into the engine. Not only was it unfiltered, but...

That's one of the before pics. That was an ammo box that they used to store junk like the tire iron, tow rope, and a bunch of random junk in it. I have since repainted the exterior and interior, recaged the car, installed a new rally intercom, removed that box and replaced it with a battery box that...
