It is not bolt on.....and actually quite a pain from what I remember people talking about it. Check out the legacy forum on www.i-club.com I believe someone has done this conversion, do a search in the legacy forum and I think something will pop up as to what type of problems he encountered.

MRT makes one that is supposedly not too loud and has twin outlets. I think it's 180 or something like that.....don't quote me on that price. But that is the whole axle back unit.

I've been waiting for quite a while.....hopefully in the next 2-3 weeks I'll have it.

Unfortunately, the site really doesn't allow attaching of photos, so they have to be hosted some place else, and then linked to them. Either I or Dave should be able to help you with hosting the photos....especially since you're doing a complete rebuild on the thing. Let us know, & welcome to th...

Most all the ones that have body kits are Liberty RS's down in Australia.

Not much of anything in the states.

Re: Turbo exaust

Ok, first the best thing you can do is get rid of the cat and get a straight through muffler. Back pressure on a turbo is crap. My experience is that turbos run best on just a downpipe and no other exaust. The turbo itself is all the back pressure (and more) that is needed. I don't care about the v...

Can't be done with a stock setup. The most you could get to the rear is 50%

Plus the clutch packs I don't think are designed to run that all the time.

So without some major modifications to the tranny......it's not goin to happen.

Yes,

You will also need to remove the bolts holding the exhaust manifold onto the rest of the exhaust to get the manifold out.

Does it do it when you're turning the wheel at all......or just goin in straight line......or doesn't it matter.

Could be a wheel bearing drying up. I'd jack up that corner....try jiggling the wheel and shaking it.

Also take a look at the pads....make sure they've got enough stuff left on them.

I'm hoping to have mine in the next few days.

Adam said they should've cleared customs yesterday or the day before. So hopefully they will be in my grubby little mits very soon. I've got those and whiteline springs to go in. Plus I'll be putting new rubber on too :)

I can't wait!

There is probably similarities between the two. The legacy was supposed to be completely gone over and designed from the ground up. So I don't think there was a lot of stuff that "directly" carried over from before. There's probably similarities, but dimensions may not be the same. The XT ...

I sorta don't think it would work as the Legacy and XT6 are completely different generation of car.

You're best bet would be to probably use struts & springs for the XT6.

I'd go over on the 80's side of the USMB and ask over there. They seem to be pretty good place for the older stuff.

The tranny cooler lines run through the stock radiator. It's not a separate radiator/cooler. So I'm not sure if you would get the efficiency that you're looking for.

But it's prob worth a shot :)

You're correct about the fact that the AGX is basically an adjustable GR2. However you can adjust the damping to be stiffer then the GR2's.

If you can hack the extra money.....I'd say try and get the AGX's, as they will give you more adjustability and fine tuning.

Pitted windshield

Does anyone have info on a polishing compound for glass that can be used to get small pitting and such out of glass. Jason, you mentioned your work could get something like this? If I can't find anything....I'll have to get a new windshield......I can barely see anything when it rains.....It's horri...

I honestly don't know of any vendors that have anything. One of the manufacturers is hippo sleak or something like that......uumm....The japanese Hyper Rev mag. may have some info. I know some past issues had pics of certain kits. But I'm not sure if you can get them.

Dave may know.

Black goo around throttle plate

Ok guys.......looking for some info here. I need to know what and where I can get some of the black sealant goo that is around the throttle plate on the throttle plate. It's used to help seal the throttle plate. It doesn't set up. It's almost like a grease, but a sealant. I REALLY need to find somet...
