There are always trade offs and the larger turbo will usually not spool as fast and you can get to the point of diminishing returns. The part number that you have looks like it could be Ford and I have no cross reference. The biggest RHB52 that My list gives is - trim5200 II, AR metric P20 english ....

I haven't seen a select monitor that would really read values directly from the sensors but there could very well be one around but it would be very difficult. When the signals enter the ECU most go directly to a AtoD converters and the digital output is monitored, conditioned and fed into the syste...

The only dyno runs we ever did were with a 1.8lt Impreza FWD so I don't publish them and kind of let the chip speak for itself. Those runs did show a max gain of 11hp at 3700 with less below and above that. This was at 5400' above sea level on a warm day

The scope can be used on the input and output lines and I can tell you what you should expect to see as far as data and voltages would be on almost all of them and there are places in the ECU itself that it can be used with caution. I started getting interested in this when we were in the business o...

I think that link is bad Josh. We have what is probably one of the best available in select monitors and all the late model cartridges I think the the cost was over 3K. This thing has a dual channel LCD storage scope, dual channel meters, print out and probably several things I haven't found yet. We...

We manufacture one of chromoly for the n/a and might be able to come up with something for the turbo mo...

I am not real sure where the term clocking came from but when you "clock" a turbo you loosen the compressor housing and rotate it in the direction needed to get the desired angle to match up with the intercooler or manifold. This is not possible with our stock turbo as the intake elbow is ...

As long as you are only running 5-10 ls boost your stock transmision will work ok the only difference in the turbo 5 speed and non turbo is the heat treatment of the mainshaft. I run 15-20 lbs with a turbo Legacy engine and a '99 Legacy transmission. Problems start at about 225+ hp. You will have to...

If the mounts were real bad I suppose the engine could get hit by something and trip the knock sensor. STI mounts are available they are quite a bit harder. I have the STI mount for the transmission and it does hold things pretty steady.

If you do decide to go ahead with the swap several of us are installing EJ22t motors in n/a legacy's and Impreza's. I retained the stock type transmission with a HD clutch plus extras and now have 30,000 miles on the car (a '95 Impreza) with no problems. Right now there is a swap under way in ID whe...

Clutch problems ?

If anyone is replacing a clutch or doing transmission work we have a kit to repair the front snout of the transmission (saving big bux) if it has wear and or grooves in it this is the setup. We also have a modified slave cylinder to improve the clutch disengagment point and action at a lower price t...

The cruise isn't very difficult, the pedal assy has to be replaced and they are fairly cheap as there is little demand for them and the cruise switches will have to be installed and wired. If the transmission that you get has wear and or grooves in the front snout we have a kit to repair this and no...

There is one thing to watch for on the drive shaft there are two different sizes of flanges on the diffs to bolt the driveshaft to. They are not interchangable in most cases, the flange has a part on it that fits into the diff housing and determines the position of the pinion gear. If the transmissi...

It sounds like the snout on the transmission is worn and the t/o bearing is flopping around on it. The usual fix for this is to replace the transmission case. We have a stainless steel sleeve that will fit over the snout and lock in place, this will repair this problem without replacing the case and...

Sure the parts situation is better for the EJ22t and with less hp like 350-400 you could get that without stroking it and that is one of the more expensive items.
