Oops, I had a Sport Sedan. After a year and looking at so many other cars, I got confused. I had my eye on more than one GT.

EJ22T performance vs. 2007 NA 2.5

I have been driving a 2007 Legacy SE for almost a month now, after selling my 94 GT over a year ago. The difference in seat-of-the-pants acceleration feeling is still surprising. The Turbo used to absolutely leap foward and the new NA model has a very straight torque curve by the feel of it. It feel...

Will 15" wheels off m 94 GT fit a 99 Outback wagon?

Friend has 99 Outback, I hope to learn if the wheels may fit without taking one off, lazy as I am. I tried a search but did not find the answer.

Thanks, my local guy gave be about 28% off as a walk-in, after I asked nicely. Subaru gave me a 15% coupon for visiting their site and building a car. My leasing dealer offered me 10%. go figure.

FS Shur Grip cable chains in SW PA

These are unused and come in a hard plastic carrying case, and are sized for 196/60-15 tires. The manufacturer says they are legal in all states since they are only meant for ice/snow covered roads. They caution against traveling over 30mph or using on roads without ice/snow cover. They are for 2 ti...

Looking for source for discounted Subaru Parts

I need Subaru mudflaps and hood deflector, for now. I tried 1stsubaru parts.com, subaruparts.com, and allsubaru.com. One has about an 18% discount and 2 don't list the parts for 2007 cars. Does anyone know a dealer with better discounts on the web?

15" steel wheels.tires/hubcaps FS SW Pennsylvania

I have 4 steel wheels and hubcaps with Michelin Artic Alpin tires with 4/32-5/32 tread depth. There is some surface rust, mostly from scrapes where the hubcaps mount. I am near Pgh PA and would like to sell locally so as not to mess with shipping. Here are some pics of how they looked on my 94 SS. h...

Drove a 2007 Legacy SE today

Today I drove a 2007 Legacy SE 5-speed. I sold my 94 SS over a year ago. The new NA model is not as spriited, but I like it a whole lot. The split folding rear seats are back, and airbags galore. I am looking for a forum related to the newer Legacies. can anyone point me there?

You saved someone else a lot of trouble, or gave them a reason to make the trip. I commend you for taking the time to make the trip and report.

The engine alone 'could' be worth that. And if you can drive it home, everything else is gravy.

I have been missing those channel locks for a long time. By the time I noticed them, they were too rusty to bother with. Thanks for the report. Sounds a lot like the car I sold.

It does not surprise me, after following this board a few years. They have the car looking so good, I just about want it back. I'd still like to see it up close to see how the rust was handled, especially at the bottom of the right door and both front fenders where they meet the bumper at the wheelw...

Well, before I got to do any further checking, the hesitation showed up again without A/C or lights on. It is rvery abrupt, always occurring after pulling out from a stop. I can cruise on the highway all day without a problem.

This is getting more interesting. After reading other posts where the alternator had caused drivability problems, I decided to turn off my headlights and fog lights, and defroster, which I usually have on at all times in the winter. There has been no more incident of hesitation, even though the prev...

Yes I have boost gage. It acts normal at all times. Wires are probably due, and fuel filter as well. Looks like time for a minor tune up. Thanks for the advice. I want to sell the car in a month or so and I would like to have the hesitation gone.

More pesky hesitation-and alternator/fan issues

I can't find similar hesitation symptoms in other posts. My 94 SS has new injectors, plugs and knock sensor, all replaced within about 2 months ago but an intermittant hesitation remains. It happens when pulling out from a stop, after going maybe 1 or 2 car lengths, it acts as though I let my foot c...

thanks. It's all good now. New injector and O rings. Latest injector came with big warning for Subaru, Nissan, etc. side-flow injectors, to remove fuel rails, white lithium and double check o rings, and pressurize fuel rail, checking for pressure holding, etc., etc., before starting car. Otherwise, ...

No I did not. I pulled only one injector and reinstalled after closely examining the o-rings. I pulled it out due to seepage past the top ring. Both rings were intact , visibly, at that time. I could find no flaws. The injectors had been in place only a month or less.
