you should fiberglass the backside of the grill behind the notches,then bondo over that.As you have it the filler is just going to crack and fall out, let the fiberglass be the structure and backing and the filler do what its supposed to, fill.

1/8" is fine.Like you said its not going to break off,that and the fact that if you seal it to the point where there is 0 lip protruding on the inside you will have probably put too little sealant...another problem.

You already resplit the motor for a similar issue,why take the chance over an oil pan? lol


Also are you letting the sealant set a while before installing?

harness parts!?!

Anyone have a link to a good site with parts needed for harness building?.Im having a hell of a time finding someone with a wide selection.I really dont want to buy plugs/connectors from one source,and then conduit,connectors ect. from another.

I agree on the injectors,but thats the easy part.And it seems things are always at the max..efficiency wise.I would rather a turbo breathing hard at the top if it means a little less in the lag department.Do you not think a 20g is sufficient for this?

The case halves are a pretty precise joint.Im sure it doesn't take much to make a good seal once torqued.
