Re: EJ22 N/A Tuning. What to do?
Thanks you guys. The problem is that a WRX motor or an STi motor are pretty hard to find here in Iceland and when you find one it's gonna be bloody expensive (3000$ at least). And of course if I use online stores like ebay it will be really expensive due to the tolls and taxes and what not. All in a...

EJ22 N/A Tuning. What to do?
The thing is I have a N/A EJ22 (European) engine and I was thinking about adding a turbo but I know it's not that easy. What parts exactly would I have to replace and is it stupid to try? Is it cheaper to buy a complete EJ20H?

Why did nearly all American market cars from Japan from that era have that middle thing between the rear lights? I don't get it. Is it some sort of a safety feature or did they actually think it was beautiful? Of course I'm from Europe and no cars have that here. That's probably why I don't f...

Didn't an Icelandic team prep and assist the Top Gear run to the North Pole? My brother showed me the Formula stuff years ago. Pretty much nuts and awesome. Yeah, that's right. Arctic Trucks did make the cars for Top Gear and their employees came along and helped Jeremy and friends a lot. Right now...

for some reason I find myself being a Block hater I suppose it is mere jealousy *andrew now bothers to watch the clip* yup, I was right, it's jealousy. he is living my dream and despite the fact that it likely took a bunch of takes to get that all, it remains that everything he does is damn spectac...

Sorry, but I don't have a clue about the engine... I think it's an American V8 of some sort, they are very popu...

An example why Icelanders are crazy!
So... You guys probably know nothing about Icelandic car culture. - Which is understandable. Icelanders are crazy about cars. We have rallycross, rally, quartermile drag races, glacier offroad and formula offroad. Formula Offroad is a great sport invented in Iceland in which offroad cars with Americ...

Getting a turbo - what to do?
So, I'm getting a turbo from a GT Impreza (EDM) for about 200 usdollars (15.000 Icelandic Kronur). The problem is that I don't know alot about this kind of thing and I'm far from being a mechanic myself. The question is: What should I do to my engine and drivetrain so it will cope with all the extra...

I know, a bit late to reply to this post but... I've got a GX 2.2! It's a 1991 model and I think the GX's are for European market only, am I right? Correct me if I'm wrong. There are a few GX's here in Iceland but most of them are dying from rust, just like all old cars in Iceland. Not a good countr...
