It actually looks really good on your car. Nice work! That's a spendy piece right there.

Too bad about the Legacy getting put on hold, but you can always get back to it later. It's not like you have a deadline to enjoy your hobbies. You can always come back to it. Have fun with the Formula One car. It looks like it would be an absolute blast to drive.

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
Probably true. It will be tucked away down there not being used most of the time. It's mainly for additional lighting to spot for moose on the way to the hot springs or the occasional trip to Anchorage. Anything is better than nothing.

I bought an LED light bar today too. For my girlfriends '08 impreza. It's a 32" curved bar. It should fit right under the main bumper beam.

Re: Legacy Central Logo / Decal
I really like that first design. I'm kinda lost with the other sticker. What are the design elements in there. I guess I'm not seeing it. Does it say "T Leg"? That's kinda cool too. I literally just realized it as I was typing this.

I like the look of your car in that picture. Perfect height / stance. That is a nice distribution box. What model VW/AUDI would that come out of?

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
Getting back to working on my T-belt replacement. Here's the block and pump surfaces all cleaned up. Also, I planned on checking the screws, and loctite-ing them securely when I replaced the o-ring. Glad I checked. http://www.dominatordesign.com/1991_legacy_ss/91_Legacy-OilPump_WaterPump_Sur...

Right on! Definitely keep us posted. I'm very curious to see how they come out. I've wanted to retro fit a pair for my car too, but the fluted lenses have discouraged me.

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
The keyless entry needs to actuate the driver's door mechanism. That controls the auto-locking for all the doors. That's why he only needed to use 1 of the 4 actuators. I have that done too, and it's tied into my auto start. It's a nice feature. If you need a solution for the 'F' pipe, maybe conside...

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
^^ Looks good! It's nice to see these guys getting fixed up and staying on the road. I made a mess with my Subie this week. What started with a timing belt replacement is snowballing into a deep clean and then some. Oily timing belt, broken timing covers, crank seal almost out of bore, crank pulley ...

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
That looks like a pretty complete kit. The reason I ask is because one time I was working on the Legacy, I had to de-pin a harness and insert them into a new plastic plug. I was lucky and was able to use all the pin ends. The original plug was smashed beyond recognition though. I was thinking at the...

Re: Northwind Composites - Status Update
Thanks for the updates Lee. Even though it's not going to fit my pre-facelifted car, I'm excited to see new products and manufacturers even considering our cars. Keep up the good work, it's been cool to see the progress of this project.

Re: Adding Variable Intermittent Wiper Stalk
Maybe some of the info on this write up will help. It's got some pictures and simple wiring diagram of the rear wiper relay. http://www.northursalia.com/modifications/exterior/rearwiper/rearwiper.html On a similar note, I wish I had access to coupe and sedan rear glass for the impreza and legacy wit...

Re: Adding Variable Intermittent Wiper Stalk
Sorry you had some snags with your install Josh. I would have assumed the rear intermittent controls were in the stalk as well. I find it odd that it would be controlled somewhere else. I have not had a car with a rear wiper, and thus have not performed this "upgrade" to one that does. Ple...

Re: rallyak car's and journeys
Is that how you prefer to change the clutch? pull the motor to do it? Or are you doing it that way to service other things too? I've done 2 clutch jobs on Subarus so far (02 WRX & 99 OBS), and it was a pain in the ass each time. Anything to make a job easier is good to know.
