ive got a 95 subaru legacy sedan ls, if i was to get just the rear struts from a 98 OB i could use my springs and tophat/mounts? and they would just go together and mount up like the legacy struts? its got a so called saggy "butt" and i bought all new springs strut everything and it didnt ...

thats what i was thinking of doing just the struts all the way around, because then its not to much wear on my CV's, and its cheaper, and it will still lift my car up a inch or so?? wont it? but the 98 struts for an OB will bolt up to my 95 springs and mounts? easy right?

awesome! thank you now i know that to get, shoud, it make a difference if i just do the struts? or should i do all of it? i believe my cv's should be fine... they seem to have no stress right now.

so a full 98 outback spring strut and tophat or just spring and strut would work with my tophats? i could put that on my car and it would just bolt up and lift without putting stress on my CV's?

i didnt use forester springs in the rear, i simply stated that thier spring rates where a little higher then out backs im using-1998 kyb gr2 outback struts all 4 corners front springs and top hats are forester xt rear springs and tophats are 91 leggo all 4 corners have my own 1 inch strut spacers i...

kbeefy and Shaggy, both my rear struts and springs are brand new.. i have big system in the trunk that weighs alot... (that's where i'm getting the sag) so if i get stiffer springs like out of a forester or an outback, it will even it out, but everything is brand new just sags cause of the weight i ...

do you think i could use my struts i have right now, but with forester or OB springs just to lift the saggy rear end back up?or do you have to use struts also? and if i get the springs and strut will my tophat work with them?

i would really like to lift the whole car up, but right now i really just want and inch or 2 on the back to level my car out, i have alot of weight in my car in the trunk and it sags, exspecially when there are people in the back, it sags really bad! soo how could i just lift the back an inch or two...
