Re: Is this a PITA? (valve cover removal)
Do I need to drain my oil to do this? How much oil is in the covers since they are sideways?

Re: Is this a PITA? (valve cover removal)
Good info. I might get this done this weekend. Wear gloves, oil is toxic. :) I have just recently become a fan of nitrile gloves. They are so much better than mechanix gloves since you can just throw them away. I wish I had taken a picture of the pile of gloves that I went through last week working ...

Is this a PITA? (valve cover removal)
It looks like that I am leaking oil from my valve covers. It is just a seep but it is enough that it gets on my headers and smokes. It is just annoying. I am tired of smelling it and getting looks from people because there is smoke coming from my hood. How much of a PITA is it to change the gaskets....

I hate my antenna.
What are my options for changing the antenna on my 94 wagon? I would like to get a short one. Is there any easy option for changing it or am I just going to have to fab something up?

Do you still have the passenger side front corner light? If so, how much to ship to 22031? Can I get a picture?

Re: '94 L AWD clutch? (will a '06 WRX clutch fit?)
Yeah I thought about that but I just don't feel like messing with it right now. I am planning an engine swap next winter so I won't even have the trans to worry about. If anybody else is looking for a clutch for their NA this would be something to look into I think. The flywheel on the 06 is suppose...

It doesn't have the clips so I think that it wouldn't work not to mention the size difference.

The top of the release forks is different due to the type of engagement. Re: '94 L AWD clutch? (will a '06 WRX clutch fit?)
I just ordered the Sachs clutch that comes with the tranquil kit thing. I don't have a horsepower problem. It is stock and those EJ22s put out like 130 bhp in 94 - now 17 years later and I am pretty sure most of those horses are dead. I just need it to last a season of rallycross. I plan on doing a ...

Re: '94 L AWD clutch? (will a '06 WRX clutch fit?)
'06 WRX clutch won't work for anybody that did read this. NA Legacies have manual clutches so.... not happening. If you have something build after '95, however, those clutches seem pretty baller.

Re: '94 L AWD clutch? (Will a '06 WRX clutch fit?)
Someone just gave me the flywheel and pressure plate from a '06 WRX in the context of "if you can use it I don't need it" so the big question now is.... will it work? He said that they are the pull type clutches like I think the Legacies are. If this will work I can just get a new disc and...

Re: WRX franken-exhaust on an N/A
What would be the best cheap muffler to put on this thing? I don't really want to put that much into it because I am hopefully only on this engine for a year. I don't want it to be loud just a little more boxery. The stock muffler makes it sound like it has a cold.

'94 L AWD clutch? (will a '06 WRX clutch fit?)
I have looked on here but I haven't really seen people talking about the clutches on the N/A cars. I just bought a '94 L wagon and it appears that the clutch is slipping or at least I think that it is. I can punch it in say 3rd gear and it will go from 2800 to 3200 rpms then drop back down to 3000 a...

GD lateral links on a 94 L wagon?
I am trying to source the needed parts to put a rear sway on a 94 L and I have possibly ran across parts from a '04 WRX. I know that the mounts will work but will the lateral links and endlinks work too? I haven't been able to find a solid answer yet. I thought I had but apparently I was imagining t...

WRX franken-exhaust on an N/A
I am planning to do a EJ20G swap next winter so I am not dumping a lot of money into the EJ22. That being said I am trying to get as much power as I can from it without really spending much money. From what I understand WRXs have 2.25 diameter tubing. I know that they are basically a good fit for th...

Re: Harness bar
Yeah still going to be my DD. I think I can work with that hole for the track anchor point. I don't have the car in my possession just yet so I can't go out and look at it. Do you think there is enough room in there for me to get the bar in and still be able to use the auto belts? I would like to no...

Harness bar
I am looking for harness connection solutions for the '94 wagon that I am going to be getting. I will be rallycrossing it and the automatic seat belts aren't going to provide much support. Does anybody make a harness bar for these cars? I could probably make one. Is there anywhere to attach it on th...

Will my old rally tires & wheels fit?
I am picking up a 94 L wagon on Friday and will be starting my RallyX season in a few weeks. I used to race a Neon and thus I have Neon wheels with rally tires on them. I can get another season out of them and honestly don't have to money to buy new wheels and tires just yet. I was wondering if they...
