Free: 1994 Silver SS hood and Front Bumper
As you know free has a catch. I am located in north Alabama and really don’t want to ship. That is the catch. Hood and bumper is very good condition with good hood scoop attached. Could just bolt up and go. Can send pics to serious inquires. Cleaning out stuff and hate to throw it away. Might be wil...

Re: WTB: SS MAP/Pressure Control Solenoid
I guess there are only 2 new in the US, was quoted $460.00 just for the map and another $250 for install. Found a low mileage used set that includes solenoid map and bsc from another forum member.

Turbo MAP Boost Sensor Replacement Options
Hi, have a 94 SS with a bad MAP, tossing CEL 45 and fuel cutting during acceleration and just going down the road intermittently. Took to the dealer and confirmed what I had researched on here and quoted over 400$ for the OEM Turbo MAP. I told them to go piss off and put an ad in the Parts Shed and ...

WTB: SS MAP/Pressure Control Solenoid
The original Denso 22012aa020 MAP took a crap after 250K, dealer wants way too much for a new one. Let me know what you got and how much you want for it. Would like to replace both with newer but the MAP is most critical, think the solenoid is still working currently

Re: On Throttle/Off Throttle Stumble/Hesitation/Thing
Josh, Sorry for the lag in response but no, it the same. 5K later it is still presenting the same as last post. Only thing different is the idle is starting to drop down really low and the car about dies on cold mornings when I let off the accelerator. I am thinking idle control valve for the later ...

Re: On Throttle/Off Throttle Stumble/Hesitation/Thing
You know, that isn't a bad thought, the path from turbo to TB is good, but I might have a leak between the MAF and turbo.
How would shaft play on the turbo present?

On Throttle/Off Throttle Stumble/Hesitation/Thing
All, I have a 94 SS with a TD04 and TMIC and exhaust, nice running SS. It has its bugs but still a nice DD. I am having an issue that I need help figuring out. If I accelerate (not WOT) and then I let off the gas around 3K because someone cuts me off or traffic checks up I have a stumble that I can ...

Re: Wind Noise Issues
I made mine better by taking a C-clamp after them. The drivers side it helped a little and I ended up buying a replacement but I had decent results with the passenger side.

Re: Sticky clutch after heavy braking
Alphius, try this: Get under pedal assembly and WD40 the crap out of every piece that looks like it moves. (I know...I know......WD40 is a cleaner and can break down my pristine 18 y/o rubber bushings) :) Loosen the clutch adjust screw almost all the way out on your clutch assembly. When I did this ...

Carpet Replacement? 2004 Forester Donor?
Found a guy on a local forum that has a brand new looking black carpet out of an 2004 Forester that he wants $75 for. It is the best deal I have found for carpet that doesn't look worse than what I have. Will this fit? He states the floorpan design is very similar and I am getting him to measure it ...

+1 on replacing gussets. It is actually quite amazing how much quieter the car was with new ones installed.

Re: Sticky clutch after heavy braking
Okay, I am going on a different track here. I am almost positive this issue is in the pedal assembly. So sure that I just spent $35 on ordering 4 tiny ass bushings and a spring for the brake pedal. So here is the theory. I have bad bushings in either the "Boss Comp" assembly ends (common p...

Re: Sticky clutch after heavy braking
I still have the damper, I thought about dumping it to see if it helps.
This has happened to me accelerating hard uphill as well.

Re: Sticky clutch after heavy braking
Interesting, I have a cut clutch reservoir to accommodate the 06-07 WRX intercooler. I never thought about that potential. It does seem if I brake harder on a downhill that it is worse.
I am going to try to overfill the reservoir to see if that makes a difference one way or the other.

Re: Sticky clutch after heavy braking
Has anyone figured out for sure what is causing this? I have the same issue with a brand new master/slave cylinder installed. Under hard braking the clutch pedal doesn't want to come back up all the way. I have played with the adjust on the master cylinder pushrod under the dash but that doesn't rea...
