It's only going to cost me like 800. It depends on how far you want to go.

Re: engine noob.
Can't really make big power with a NA engine unfortunately. I mean you can do cam work, exhaust, intake. You could lighten the car a bit so the engine doesn't have to work as hard. I was going to keep my car NA but then decided I wanted to turbo it. You can do it for a decent price as long as you do...

Re: Ski passthrough
Good to know. But I haven't seen any LS models at the junkyard that had it. Never seen another LSi in person here. What about the cloth cover for the bottom cushion? It comes off but I've never taken it offsubaru_styles wrote:92-94 LS LSI got the 40/20/40 pass through

Re: Ski passthrough
Yeah mine is basically 40/20/40. So all of the seats fold down but the middle can seperately.Armrest folds down, then there's a plastic flap behind it with a button to push down and then it opens that. I'll try to get pictures for you guys tomorrow

Ski passthrough
So my 92 Legacy LSi has grey leather with a ski passthrough for the rear seat and a cloth cover for the bottom cushion. My question is does anyone else on here have that or I have some rare back seat? alexandermf believes it came out of a newer Legacy or something. I disagree. Lol 92ColoradoTurbo th...

Re: 1st gen owners get No respect.
I'm ignored by most STIs and WRXs. I'm more noticed by Honda's and other car guys. Mainly the way mine sounds. As of right now its slow due to no turbo but that will change soon. Sure I get tired of looking over to an STI driver during a cruise and he gives me the "what the fuck are you looking...

In Breaking Bad season 4 when Walt takes his son to buy a car they look at an ad for a Dodge Challenger. Right below it there's a post facelift Legacy Wagon selling for 1995. lol should've bought that instead.

Re: Expensive "Mechanix" gloves... why so much?
They are overpriced. That being said they really do "fit like a glove" Very comfortable. Doesn't affect the dexterity as much as other gloves. I do wish they were at least five bucks cheaper. I haven't used the extra padded ones though so I can't say what those are like. Just the standard ...

Re: Will 01 Outback LL Bean seats fit in a 93 Legacy wagon?
Yeah, I know the fronts will fit. I have 99 RS seats in my other wagon currently. I'm just wondering if the rear seats from the wagon will fit into my wagon. Oops sorry I forgot you said you already had the fronts in. As for the rear, I imagine they'd fit. Subaru kept a lot of parts similar over th...

Re: Will 01 Outback LL Bean seats fit in a 93 Legacy wagon?
I got 2000 Legacy limited seats in my car. Driver's seat is powered and both are heated. You'd have to switch the seat buckle to the old one so you can still use the seatbelts. The bolts are a little tricky but they do go in with a little work. So yes it is possible and not all that hard

Re: Duty B Solenoid help
You need to deterimine whether the solenoid is actually bad or if the wiring is at fault. To replace it I believe you can just drop the trans oil pan and get access to the solenoids. If it's just the solenoid you should be able to get a used one to put in it's place. If you have an understanding of...

Duty B Solenoid help
I finally got off my lazy ass and read the transmission codes. I ended up with a code 12. I've read that it controls the torque converter. I knew something was wrong with it because I could always tell when it would lock on the highway due to the slight decrease in engine speed and the decent mileag...

Haha yea, Garden of the Gods! I love that place. Too bad the Waldo Canyon fire made Rampart Range Road (an awesome red dirt road that's conencted to GotG and is 17mi long with tons of wheelin spots) closed :/ But the car isn't perfect... -I need new fuel hoses from my fuel filter to my rails cause ...

Re: Subaru sales up 13%, Impreza sales down 38%
I wouldn't mind CVTs if they were as durable as a decent auto. And historically they haven't even come remotely close. I've been in two different vehicles with CVTs. They wouldn't be so bad if they didn't moo all the time. It's annoying as hell and funny to listen to especially when my friend was t...

DD50's build thread
So I finally decided to put up pictures of my car. Took way too long for this but it was overdue. lol I orginally bought my 1992 Legacy LSi with 181,000 miles on it. Bought it for a grand cash. Used to be a college communter car for an ex Navy guy's daughters. It is now my DD, tuner, and whatever el...

Re: Interior Lighting
Nah, probably not. I read a lot of vrg3's posts about optics and what not, and they make sense. The covers for any light that is a signal is intended for an incandescent bulb. leds may not be as viewable at all angles as the intended bulb. Brighter is nice, but not at the cost of viewable angle. Th...
