true.... I didn't take pics tho but it only take 5 mins to build and rip apart.. I will also give more info as I go as well cause I only did two pulls with this set up so I might use different springs/at different positions and so on and post my results.... I did this as one I am a broke college kid...

I finished up my Subaru today finally after a year of owning it and took it out for a drive and was actually kinda depressed with the power so I decided to make my own, as a mbc is just a grainger valve pretty much. I am slowly fixing up my Subaru and noticed that my pcv valve tubing is completely screwed up. someone put a tee one it and it blew out the side of the intake boot to the turbo. It is a sedan... i got the ones in the wheel wheel, the ones one the side, and i tried removing the taillights but later found out they are glued in... where are those covered bolts at? I dont have an interior in the trunck so it should be easy

say ya get a replacement knock sensor its got a connector that plugs into the harness.. both sides are missing so if i buy a replacement i cant just plug it in... so i was thinking about going to a yard and getting the whole harness from sensor to computer

Well I'm going to go ahead and say new wire harness for the knock sensor... did the clear code thing and and blinked 22 so I'm guessing that means everything is good besides that

ok so if the intake manifold bolts are all in a line, its a 2.5, dohc, then its a 25d? just curious because im looking to get one for the heads, intake and etc for my 22t

From my research I am pretty sure all 2.5dohc phase one motors are 25d's... is this correct? only other dohc 2.5s are turbocharged motors(sti and forester)... and what is the best way to tell if it is phase one? for instance a friend has a bunch of subaru motors. Vacuum line wouldnt surprise me as i used some old line just to get it running... orginally bought it was missing alot of line so i used olds ones from other vehicles in my yard just to see if the car ran... ill get a fuel filter and cleaners tomorrrow

Kinda what the subject says. When i first start it up i can pretty much only idle around until warm then i can accelerate. If i try to flloor it it just pretty much cuts out. It idles rough and in low rpms( pulling out from stop or after coasting around a turn) it seems sluggish like it doesnt want ...

So i can use the driveshaft and everything from the newer body legacy... whats the easiest way to check ratio is it anything like with a chevy and you can give the dealer the vin and they can give the ratio in a matter of seconds... if not whats the easiest way to do it

I was curious what would be the best car to swap a 5 speed into my car(1994 legacy turbo)... either a 1996 legacy or 1996 impreza? i hear i can hear either pedal assembly but im pretty sure the legacy wagon rearend mounts different. but i dk I have access to buy either for 150 bucks so i was curious...

Turn out it was fuel pump... put one in out of a 99 legacy gt and fired right up... but i striped a nut that holds the pump assembly to tank now nut it stuck on. Any tips how to get this off?
