Re: Andrew's BF Legacy Turbo Wagon - UK

I visited Prodrive with the UK Legacy forums (uklegacy.com) last weekend, and some members kindly uploaded some great quality photos. The meet was a joint venture between UKLegacy and the Forester owners club. There were 25 Foresters and 20 Legacies in attendance, including 4 Gen1s! Here are some of...

Re: Andrew's BF Legacy Turbo Wagon - UK

My local Subaru dealership has confirmed that they never came separately from the hood scoop. Looks like bonding them in is the only option. I've only got 4 of them left - 2 wouldn't separate from the nuts - so i'll have to get creative for the ones in the centre of the scoop. I was thinking along t...

Re: Andrew's BF Legacy Turbo Wagon - UK

Been a while since I updated this. Things that have happened: - Headlining is out and being retrimmed in black. - Investigating trim around top of windscreen - is it leaking? It's rusty in the centre! :( - Charge cooler pump rebuild - New rims (17" Rota Torque) - New brake discs - Fixed CV boot...

Fair play. The Supra is a very, very pretty car. And props for getting one with a 6MT!

Have your door handles got any scratches on them? :P That's some mega roll!

Looks awesome fun though - I haven't tracked my wagon yet...

Re: Andrew's BF Legacy Turbo Wagon - UK

Cool. Something to consider :) Potential problem arose yesterday - went out to the car after heavy rainfall, there was a pool of water on the left side front floor mat. Looked like it had come from the top of the windshield, as it was too far back to be under dashboard. I'm hoping i've not got a rus...

Re: Andrew's BF Legacy Turbo Wagon - UK

To be honest, most people i've spoken to here ditch the water/air and go for a front mount.

I might have to do the same if this pump turns out to be dying - charge cooler pumps are apparently a nightmare to come by.

Re: Andrew's BF Legacy Turbo Wagon - UK

Thanks guys. I'm very happy with her. There are a few patches of rust poking through, but that's seemingly unavoidable owning a Japanese car In the UK! The charge cooler is still water cooled. Actually, the pump is very noisey and I'm slightly concerned about it - it's easy to hear it with the windo...

Andrew's BF Legacy Turbo Wagon - UK

Hello! I'm Andrew, i'm 23 and I work for a computer games development company in England, UK. I've wanted a BF Turbo Wagon for a while now. It's everything i'd never owned in a car before - Turbo, Flat 4, AWD, JDM - whilst maintaining the 90's wagon shape that I love. So I searched and searched, and...

Re: Front lips - what fits, and what is available?

Thanks for the welcome. I hope that this information could be useful to someone else too.

I'm looking to put together a wheel thread also, as there is very little resource for what wheels look good on BC/BF's.

Front lips - what fits, and what is available?

I've been searching all over for a cool front lip to fit on my BF wagon, as I feel the stock one is just too soft for the car. Thought that others might find the reference I've found useful, or may even be able to add more to it? Gen1 S2 STI lip - NLA - 2nd Hand Only. Replaces stock lip, direct fit....
