WTB (North Idaho) : Front Turn Signal Socket, 93' SS
As the title states, I'm looking for a front turn signal socket for my 93' SS. My current one has a short somewhere in the socket and is causing rapid blinker syndrome and prevents the front left turn signal from working. The aftermarket support is woefully inadequate and so I'm looking at used OEM....

Re: Used 16x7, ET+48, Advan TC with RS-3 rubber, $500
I can't believe these haven't moved - dropping down to $400. This is a screaming deal for such nice rims.
I'm moving in a few months and would love to have these gone.

Re: Used 16x7, ET+48, Advan TC with RS-3 rubber, $600
Yep, they sure are :). They have been awesome rims for me and I had a really, really, really hard time moving away from them. But I also wanted new rubber for this season and the RS-3's have been discontinued and I could only get new ones in a 17in. But having gotten used to a high performance rim I...

North Idaho - 16x7, ET+48, Advan TC with RS-3, SOLD
I recently upgraded to some 17x7's and I no longer need these. They are 16x7 Advan TC rims with a +48 offset. They are used and there is some curbage as can be seen in the pictures. That said, they balance and hold air just fine and I've had them on my track/daily for close to 7 years or so (I bough...

FS: 2.5 SOHC Heads, Intake, $300
For a while I was working on going down the road of going to a 2.5 setup in my legacy and had been acquiring parts. Since then, I've started going a different route and I think it's time to start really purging more of my subi stock. Therefore, I have a set of 2.5 SOHC heads and manifold to get rid ...

Re: EJ25D w/ EJ22E Heads, Headgasket Question
Regarding the comp ratio - you may very well be right Todd. I'll be honest that it's been too long since I had my head in the CR game and was crisp but what you are saying rings a fair bell. I do remember calculating it higher than stock but I did chose the turbo block explicitly to reduce the ratio...

Re: EJ25D w/ EJ22E Heads, Headgasket Question
Todd, The low end on the new motor is fairly snappy. When I build the motor I want to say the comp ration was 11:1-ish. Not quite as high as the typical high comp NA motors but high enough that I run premium. I get about 22mpg around town and haven't had it on the highway recently to give highway nu...

Re: EJ25D w/ EJ22E Heads, Headgasket Question
I figured I'd just follow up with everyone on the path I ended up choosing. I decided that I didn't have much extra time to be swapping heads, water pumps, oil pumps, etc over to the old short block. Therefore, I decided it was more responsible of me to just drop in the whole EJ257/EJ22E engine setu...

Re: EJ25D w/ EJ22E Heads, Headgasket Question
Thank you for the quick and concise answer! Very much appreciated. I got it pulled apart last weekend and both exhaust valves on #4 tagged the piston slightly and are bent. The piston looks to be in pretty good shape with on visible material movement - it contacted right on the edge of 'flat' and th...

EJ25D w/ EJ22E Heads, Headgasket Question
Wow, I feel like it's been a long time since I've been on the BBS in a personal manner other than to thin the garage. It's great to see that some of the 'old' names are still around and active, or active again. That said, I'm going to jump right into my question - after my disclaimer. Disclaimer - I...

Speezly - shipping the radiator is a little harsh at $45 but that's the cheapest I could find to ship it. The Grp N strut tops will be $13 in a flat rate box. Please let me know if I can help any further.

4.11 5MT, Rebuilt, all new OEM (except gears/synchros)
I'm selling my rebuilt transmission that originally came out of my NA 2.2L 96’ Outback. I rebuilt the transmission and then less than a 1,000mi later the car got crunched. The frame was bent and the car was a loss. It was a sad story... I rebuilt the tranny as part of a 2.5/2.2 frankenmotor swap wit...

Tatsurbo - The header is an OBX equal length header and midpipe. It's for an NA motor to help align exhaust pulses and bump the power a little. Sidewayssubaru - The headlights are in excellent condition. All the tabs are intact with no cracks. The lenses are very clear. There is some slight red over...

I'm doing less wrenching these days and it's time to clean out some of the stuff I've been collecting over the years. Most prices are semi-negotiable but lets be honest and reasonable if you're going to make a different offer. All prices do not include shipping, buyer pays shipping from 83864 unless...

Ideal Knock Sensor Location - Josh?
So I bought the J&S Safeguard system off of Nico (thanks Nico!) and am going to be running an independent sensor for it. I know Josh had a really nice thread on his research of different knock sensor locations with cool oscilligraphs and everything. However I can't find it. Josh - would you mind...

Fellow BBS members, I owe you all an apology. I have not been appropriately advertising Autosports Northwest's Auto-X events here. So, in an effort to alleviate that problem I have shamelessly copied-pasted this month's event announcement below. For more information you can simply ask or also check ...

Re: Rare Parts, JDM, STi, SPEC C, TYPE RA !
Nico, Can you expand a bit on the Safe Guard knock control? I need some form of knock detection/control for my car and the Turbo XS Knocklite is no longer being made so I'm looking at other options. What were your experiences with the J&S unit? Which unit is it? How was wiring and installation i...

Classic 180-200chp NA Power Questions, Help Requested
I'm laid up sick this weekend so rather than sucking epoxy fumes I'm thinking about my 96' OBW build coming up this spring and had a few engine questions. I know this issue has been covered before but I wanted to get a little direct input and had a couple specific questions. Problem: My 96' Legacy O...

WTB : Central CO, Turbo Rims and Phase II 2.5L (SOHC)
Gentleman, I'm posting this up for a good friend located a little outside of Denver rocking a 99' OB Sport Wagon. He's in the market for some classic SS turbo rims for winter tires. The rims don't have to be pristine but they need to be true and straight. Rubber is not terribly important as he is go...
