Report / How-to: replace struts on '94 wagon

Hi guys, just thought I'd share my experience. I recently bought a 94 wagon with 210k miles on it. It was bouncing over everything and the shocks were shot. The rear seemed to be worse than the front. I decided to replace all the shocks. After looking at what was available and my (low) budget, I dec...

Which rear tophats?

Hi guys, I somehow managed to rip the center of my passenger side rear tophat right apart on my 94 wagon, so started shopping. I found it interesting that, of the 6 different ones I saw, MOOG is the brand that Whiteline re-sells. Here are the rear tophats I found, their prices, and links on Amazon: ...

Try using tack cloth before painting, and setting up a little booth doesn't hurt either to keep the dust out.

Re: Remote start

Holy thread resurrection Batman! I just thought I'd pipe in here a little on this topic for the sake of anyone else looking. After reading up quite a bit, here are some things I think I've learned: • NOT all 94 Legacys came from the factory with the remote on the key... carID says only in Switzerlan...

Re: How to get rid of the yellowed headlights

Yes it is weird that it didn't last. Maybe it wasn't great paint or too thin. I've never had it NOT last forever.

Re: How to get rid of the yellowed headlights

I had used a couple different kits in the past for clearing yellowed headlights. One worked great, the other two did nothing and I can't remember which any of them were. But I just did mine, and here's how I did it: 1. Remove lenses and clean with warm water and a tad of dish soap 2. Wet sand 150, 3...
