Re: Turbo resonator delete
Why is it anytime a question is asked about messing with the intake someone feels it is necessary to point out how much time the engineers spent designing the factory piece. I find it interesting that no one has a problem with a modified exhaust, but I guarantee the engineers spent just as much tim...

Im pretty sure that if you are maintaining a relatively stock setup - either modification has its drawbacks concerning MAF readings.Subaru didn't just concoct an elaborate modular molded part for laughs.

Re: AWIC questions
I think flow with the heat exchanger is not the biggest factor to consider. You actually want the coolant to Hang out for a while in the exchanger.Heat isnt exchanged to air instantly,it takes some time. And you probably dont need an exchanger the size of a radiator, large heater cores and motorcycle r...

Re: Aligment after putting new struts on
Do you have the cam bolts positioned so that the wheel is at its max camber? If so,and still wearing the outsides, you may need adjustable top hats.

I plumbed the leaking heater core into the intercooler plumbing. It blows just warm enough to defog my windshield. Intake temps are WAY down now though! haha!

Re: Ultimate FREE short shifter!
That is not the idea behind a short shifter. The whole premise is to raise the linkage point and therefor altering the geometry so that less travel is needed to engage a gear. What you have done may feel better but it is in fact a "short shift"....lever.Not bashin ya, just saying. I did this...

Re: OK WTF is this??
Yes.the only thing that brings it back is letting it idle for 10-15 min.Have you tried turning the engine off and then restarting it when this occurs?
Im wondering if it is a coil issue why would the failed start trigger it?,and why would operating temp resolve it?

Re: OK WTF is this??
Its hard to explain but it is obvious to me.I can literally hear that only 2 are firing, and after that it is obvious to my ears that another cylinder has kicked on.My uppipe leak makes this very evident as well.I can kind of build rpm but it really doesnt help clear it up,just the temp brings it out...

Re: OK WTF is this??
Honestly the fouling thing is the only thing i have come up with as well, must be the issue.Just weird how predictable it is,i know that if it doesn't catch the first time that it will do this, and it always does.
