Re: A few questions about TD04 and MBC
Yes, the stops are where the cams/linkage are on the TB. Pic http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/subaru_manual_scans/FSM_Scans/TPS_testing3.jpg Ok, I'll check this out today. I really think its computer related. It has to be warmed up good when the idle seems close (1k), it will climb to 1.5k. If...

Re: A few questions about TD04 and MBC
I know the usual way to reset the ECU is to unhook the battery for about 20min, is there also a way using the test connectors?
Also, are the stops on the linkage?
N/m about the reset, I searched and found it.
Need the info on the stops tho

Re: A few questions about TD04 and MBC
Well, its running and boosting now. But I still have the high idle. It might go down once the car is warmed up, but I may have to clean the IAC. I made a stop at PIA yesterday and talked to Steve and Jake and they told me basically the same thing. But at least I got to physically look at a turbo Leg...

Re: A few questions about TD04 and MBC
Thanks, thats great. I just pulled my old EA82T dropping resistor off
Guess I can re-install that and I will be picking up the pressure sensor.

A few questions about TD04 and MBC
I just swapped a EJ22T into my 89 RX and I'm re-using my TD04 and MBC. It wont go into positive pressure because its missing the boost pressure sensor and wastegate solenoid. I plan on getting this tonight or tomorrow, but if I'm using a MBC, are they necessary? Can they be bypassed, or do they need...

No, I believe its the turbo/wastegate pressure sensor. Its bolted to the passenger side wheel well on the front. It has a triangular grey plug.

Re: VF43/TD04 install
I just swapped a 92 EJ22T into my 89 RX and used a TD04. I had almost NO clearance between the elbow and the intake manifold. How did you get the turbo to angle back like that?
I see theres not turbo to block bracket, is that why?

Go down to the 83 models. They show a nice black convertable but not the name of the company that made them.

I would be SO screwed if I got this
http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/car/709707542.html
I already have several Subaru's.
But I'm a sucker for black ones. And a 2dr GL is real hard to resist.
I have a project in mind for a Coupe, but I have to thin my herd first

The GL-10 that Caboob is talking about was brokered thru me. She paid for it, I picked it up and stored it for her until she came out and got it. She had it shipped on a carrier for just shy of $800. The car cost $450. And it wasn in primo shape. I put all new shocks/struts on it, did a tune-up and ...

Model Info
Was there a Lego GT Limited made in 91?
Leather interior, etc.
No idea on engine size yet, and the pics dont show whether it says 2.5 on the back or not.
