Alrighty... here goes. My car is eating oil, I know i've got a valve cover leak and the right main cam seal is leaking.. however, that's not the problem neither of the above leaks are any worse. Get under the car and take a look at the rear passenger side of the engine... if the symptoms are the same as almost every other legacy out there it should be soaked in oil... this will be the problem. It's the cam seal back there... they leak like mofos, and never get serious. I talked to a subaru ...

I should have mentioned that having someone there to keep the revvs up is crutial to this working well ...

I"m pretty sure it's the turbo now... I had the car looked at for valve cover gaskets, they fixed an oil line and told me the problem was fixed. For a few days it was, but then the smell returned, and now about three months later I"m seeing oil around the turbo and smoke... which is leadin...

Simple question... Will a turbo from a 1992 fit into my motor? Reason, I've been getting smoke (smells like oil) from around the base and underside of the turbo, also very sketchy boost, almost feels like the car is going slower under boost sometimes, but others... The bigger the pipe.. the less torque you will have... simple as that. And since auto-x focuses mainly on low end torque, you wont want to go any bigger.

Ya.. I've got that oil leak!! And it REAKS!! Not much oil being lost, but it all hits the exhaust manifolds and burns in the engine bay... I'm driving around with the window open even in this weather. And it's cold up here! -20 celcius daytime high, and around -35 with windchill. I should prolly get...

Yup they work... I'm running them right now. Only one blown, and I can't get it out of the car to warantee it (landed a jump waaaaay to hard). If you're getting them for free go for it!!
