They are depending on the screen to straighten out the airflow as there might be turbulence in the part of the intake before the meter. I don't think that there is much turbulence and if there is it is not significant as I can't see any voltage variations on the scope. Also anything that can be done...
OK there is oil and water in the '98 heads and you can install fittings but custom lines will have to be made for the turbo and a drain will have to be made in the pan for the oil (or we can supply one). Your CR will be a little over 8:1 with the milling that has been done. Use the EJ22t head gasket...

Ok the '98 heads have oil and water but you will have to make custom lines and make a drain into the oil pan (or We can furnish one) the intake manifold to use would be a '98 RS Impreza as your IAC will fit it. The compression ratio will be very close to 8:1 but a little higher becuse of the milling...
Right it is far from a bolt on item I will try and get a list on the mods needed to do it right also. I think that the comp ratio should be higher than 7:1 as that is what we got with the EJ2Ot heads and it was pretty sad because of the low comp ratio. One interesting thing is that the 400+hp car is...
They will fit and they do flow better than the stock heads. We did cc these and I should be able to give you the comp. ratio tommorow. These heads are on the 400+ monster that we have running and it has had no major problems so far. You will have to provide an oil supply to the turbo and a drain. AL...

Hey Grant, Got your e-mail on the repair kit. SOA now wants 5 for samples. We will soon be able to get cars and parts from AU and NZ at a fairly decent price if you want a TT we can get one.

Number 2 is the switching solenoid the ECU switches it on and off to sample boost and atm pressures alternately last I heard the dealer on this was $150 but that could have changed.

Sounds good -K- said that you would be needing the pressure sources switching solenoid in one of the above messages so I thought that you would need it. It switches the pressure source from boost to atm. and so that the ECU "sees" the proper signal.

The best we managed to do with the stock injectors was 318 at the wheels but we were also running a stock fuel pump and we could see the pressure drop at the high end. The car was sold before a pump was added. This was with a Garrett hybrid turbo, good intercooler, exhaust, chip, intake, rpm mod to ...

These are a little pricy from the factory I have an extra of both how about $150.00 for both. I am sure that is what I paid a yard here for them.

They came out to see us but didn't give any answer as of yet. We made them sign a confidentiality aggreement and we have applied for a patent. One dealership had an unusuall occurance. The General manager was saying that seeing that it wasn't a Subaru approved part and he didn't think they could use...

Well yes we have had some luck in that department as a few people have insisted that they wanted this part installed at a dealerships. They have gotten it even in warranty repairs although they had to pay for the part. They report that it has cured the problem or helped and it does make the clutch w...

It can be done we installed one in a Legacy wagon and then supercharged it. The car was really fast but seeing that it was a twin rotor type supercharger it also was loud, very loud. And that type of supercharger is very hard to control. It does end up being a pretty involved installation but I am t...

One thing I do know is that putting the EJ20 heads on a EJ25 dropped the compression ratio to approx 6.5-7 to 1 and a person could have probably have outrun the car in the 1/4 mile on foot. We figured the hp at about 125hp.

No the air to water intercooler systems use a heat exchanger somewhat like a radiator to pick up the heat of the intake charge and a pump to circulate the then heated water to another heat exchanger usually mounted in front of the stock engine coolant radiator. Some of these systems can be very effi...

What I run in the air to water setup I have is a item that I picked up at a semi truck service place in this case Freight liner. It is made by Caterpiller and is water, antifreeze, water wetter, and some protective additives for the system all in one package and premixed. One nice thing about these ...

It is possible it's just that they can not deliver enough volume to keep the pressure up and when the pressure falls I would imagine that the spray pattern would be the first thing to suffer and then the amount would have to drop. I noticed a difference in My Impreza\ turbo legacy with the 255 lph p...

You have an intercooler and if it's an air to water like mine (Liberty) I would say 14-15 and 20 for short bursts that is what I do but I would watch for lean out at the top end. Our 500 hp Impreza is running a stock EJ22t Block and is running 30 lbs with all out mods including a large amount of fue...

I'm here, I think that the limits of the stock pump is probably around 250 crank hp we were running 318 at the crank and were being limited by the fuel pump. The pressure started to fall very fast at WOT near redline. this was with stock injectors. Seeing the results leaning out can possibly bring I...
