WRX coolant reservoir mounting ideas?
For now its just floating in the engine compartment. I need to find a nice spot for it. and I'm not removing my washer bottle. I was playing around w/ my IC today, figuring out what I needed etc. relocated a few things, loosened the coolant bottle and coolant starts pooring everywhere. Damned if i w...

Stereo install kits?
Any recomendations on dash kits? I've looked at the metra 99-8900 but it looks like its a 1.5 face, which I don't really care for. Thinking I may try the 1/2" DIN Pocket (88-00-9700) http://www.circuitcity.com/IMAGE/product/detail/met/EC.MET.88009700.JPG I looked at bestbuy, circuitcity and cru...

Re: tubing, aluminum and thick vs thin wall
I'm thinking the thick vs thin aluminum will act as a heat sink, cooling the air as it passes to the IC. It won't, they both have the same surface area. Not only that but the air spends a negligible amount of time in a pipe, especially under boost. mmk, the "surface area" makes perfect se...

tubing, aluminum and thick vs thin wall
I found some relatively thick walled aluminum tube which looks like the right sz for my IC.

I'm thinking in terms of cost, effeciency and ease of installation.

WRX 2.25" pipe and legacy 2.25-2.50"
I just took my axle back off and laid it on the ground to compare to my "new" stock WRX so I could check for hanger locations and fitment.
The WRX pipe is smaller! WTF?
