i have 10 connecting rods laying around..

i could sell you them for cheap if you pay shipping ;)

7 from 2.0l WRX, 3 from 2.2l Leg Turbo.

it is not recommended to use used pistons and rings.. as this could end in them not seating correctly and leaking oil as hell.. hehe

I've just terminated the install and did a 2hrs tuning with a wide-band O2 and EGT.. (no dyno yet) 300km done on the engine, 6psi max boost, and it's pulling hard and well, with a SDS EFI EM-3 computer. got 3 car lengths over a 1.8t jetta on a standing 0-100km run , shifting a 5000rpm, 6psi.. just t...

you canot change rod bearing without separating engine.. we tried that on my friend's engine since we didn't had the piston pin remover, but we had so separate the engine to give us some room.. without separating the engine, it's pretty much impossible. and #1 will give you a heck of a problem .. hehe

Something i lerned yesterday :

as for the Ej22g, the early version 2.0l turbo (ej20G) as found in the Liberty RS was both Closed Deck + Oil Squirters equipped.

seems like this was the "way to go" from subaru until the revision in 1994 for 1995 models.

hummm i was thinking that no water in the engine could have prevent it to start (a protection of some kind) ..

but i remember that when i replaced my timing belt, i actually started the engine once the coolant drained to lift the car on ramps .. so that might not be your problem :\

well, it looks like top-fed injectors are all pretty much the same, so you could make the seats already, (i'll give you some numbers this evening), and also have the fuel-rails bored to the correct size with the injectors. the injectors are 4.5" appart from each others, and the ID of the hole f...

What exactly are you referring to when you say "one minor adjustment is needed for the diameter of the injectors"? Different size drill bit? Hole punch? Grinding? Well, i'll take the rails to a machine shop to drill a hole the exact size of the injector top .. so they will fit perfectly :...

on the WRX, the injectors rises up to 120% Duty cycle :) you can buy a little socket adaptor that slip into the injector socket, and then uses the Blitz 850cc .. or the nismo 550cc injectors found on SR20DET will "fit" (may need the socket) Or you can do like i did, and make some adaptors,...
