Josh, is there a reason you are only looking at the SM4 instead of the GC WRX drop-in box? That should eliminate most of the problems with Autronic that have been mentioned. Not to mention near plug-n-play ability. And honestly, what it comes down to is what tuner are you going to use and what are t...

Re: Auto up/down driver window question
'94 lost the auto up feature.shtbxr22 wrote:do 94 turbos have an auto up/down drivers switch or is it just auto down? my new 94 doesn't "feel" like it has the auto up. maybe the switch is broken? my 92 has up/down.
My '93 SS Sedan has it, another local member's '94 SS Sedan does not.

Yeah, see what works for you. Find a way to keep track of that blow away money and make sure it stays under your target number. I have a Bank of America credit card and it's awesome. They have a part of the website that lets you keep track of all your expenses and personal worth. You can sign up you...

Holy! That was some serious air. I've never done anything that high... that I know of. There is a perfect jumping bridge in my town. The road slopes up to it very nicely. It throws you long instead of high... and pretty much perfectly level. I cleared about 80' one time in my Brat, front wheels clea...

Well, here is how I'm saving my money... 25% Goes into a savings account that I can't touch... Ever... UNLESS it is going into something that will MAKE more money. 25% Goes into Long-term Savings... So things like Car parts that I really want get bought out of here... But the money has to be in the...

For NA you want stock exhaust piping size. If it's a little too noisy now, just add a glasspack (as a resonator) inline on the exhaust somewhere. Should mellow out the noise a little bit, the rumble will stay. This method is tried and true. Local performance shop (Buschur) just keeps adding resonato...

Nice. Keep it up. And remember, there are going to be very bad days... ones that will just suck. But you still have to put your best foot forward and suck it up. No job is going to be perfect. Oh, and stay humble (may not be a problem having the entry job) but don't think any jobs are beneath you. J...

And for EM I plan on a perfect power... to start with. To start with? Are you going to change it later? Have you thought this through? Here's the thing. Just do it right the first time. Ghetto fabrications work just like they are made, ghetto. You might get fortunate, but you are really asking for ...

You're complaining that you have to unbreak the law to break it again?? Am I missing something? You chose to take the cats out, but don't like the consequences... yet, no one made you take them out. And get the Exedy OEM clutch. Stage 0 if you must refer to it that way. Nothing more is needed... or better. I paid way too much money out my nose to learn this by experience. If you are making some ridiculous amount of horsepower that can shred the OEM Exedy, then go straight to the twin-disc Exedy...

Good to be on a forum where Vikash can be there to trump the cause for as-designed lighting. You can go larger turbo without EM, but you shouldn't push it. I've been running the TD05-16G for a while now, but it's pretty much running stock boost. However, you really can't do squat on the stock EM, it absolutely sucks. Everthing you just said still indicates getting EM first is the smart thi...

EM should honestly go before turbo. There are too many on here that have gone big turbo and end up selling their stuff after they blow it up too many times. It can't be stressed enough how much EM can help while keeping the car running safely. You can get more hp from EM alone (especially on the EJ2...

once i get that. ill NEED to go stand alone EM and get a good fuel set up. If you really want to do it right. Get you EM in and running first. Once you pick up some turbo, you know you'll be tempted to throw it on... then you blow something. Or you could have your car ready to go, already making lo...

Because you have that torque converter on the other end, you wont have much throttle response. the pully will help some, but I would get a full underdrive set, not just a lightweight, stock size pully, and eliminate A/C. After all that money a 5 speed could be in. That would increase responsiveness...
