-Plan on replacing my intake manifold tomorrow. Spent some time today prepping and getting the new one painted and ready to go on.

Looking good Joe. We need to get together and have a small Gen1 Legacy meet when I bring the wagon down to Denver this summer. I would like to see the progress on your car in person.

-Sad news, I'm ready to part ways with my Subaru. I have owned this Tleg for 4 1/2 years, but now time to move on to something different. My 1992 Subaru Legacy SS will be going up for sale as soon as I gather all the information to make a great sale post.

-I will be looking to get something else in the near future. But for the summer I'm just going to enjoy my 96 Chevy S10. To answer your question better, I do want another Subi. Hoping to land a non-molested 02-04 wagon by the end of the year. I sure do miss my Tleg though. All good things come to an end though right?!?!

SWEET!!! Good to see you back in a Subie.

I have been loving my wagon lately.

What does the LE trim have over a standard TW?

-I honestly don't know what the LE has over anything else. I've never done any research on wagons like I have the sedans.

-So a little update of what I've been up to lately. I came up on some gr2 struts with eibach springs. Purchased some saggy butt spacers, wrx hood scoop, wrx heat shield and wrx rims.

-This is what the car looked like lowered:

-This is the car now with the rims and rear spacers:

-Just in today, I modified the wrx scoop, shaved it down, double sided sticky tape and three small screws to hold it down, still need to get better pics of that. Modified the wrx heat shield so it would bolt on and fit properly. Installed the rear saggy butt spacers. The springs and struts came off an outback sport, I believe it was, that was stanced out. A friend at work just gave them to me cause he no longer had the car. Ended up lowering the car two inches all around, I just didn't like how the rear looked more tucked than the front due to the wheel arches. So that's when I got some 3/8's spacers for the rear to equal it out.

-I think the car is coming around nicely. Next, I'm really focused on a 5 speed swap. A previous owner swapped in a 98 outback 4.44 trans in and have to say it was a poor job. Car runs and drives ok, but I'm just not a big fan of the auto. More to come soon.

-Lol, thanks Josh.
-Well the 5 speed swap is almost complete. ran into a couple hiccups today. Found out the drive shafts I had are too short. If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears. I'm using 2002 wrx trans and diff in my 92 legacy wagon. I've been told anything out of a manual outback wagon should work! Well I hope so. So shopping for a drive shaft tomorrow, then have to figure out the wiring to get the car to start, reverse lights, etc.

The Impreza has a different length driveshaft.

What section of the driveshaft is short (front or back)?

-Josh, after 5 different drive shafts, a 92 legacy manual was the winner. Now all I have to do is the electrical part of it. I've been reading your write-ups, and still having trouble. example: pin 20 on b48, looking at the diagram then looking at the ecu plug itself, I still don't know which way is which. I have a 50/50 shot of getting it right. This would be easier if I knew the colors of the wires. I'd like to get this finished up tomorrow but think this is going to hold me up.
