92 touring wagon broken rear end link

Post by HotBoxer »

So I've got a broken end link but my 92 has the old style drop links. I'd like to upgrade to the newer style c links and a new bar. Which lateral links will I need to find to upgrade. I don't need adjustable but want something a bit beefier.

I replaced the lateral arms and links with those from a 2nd gen legacy. Ill bet 1st gen impreza and 2nd gen impreza wagon ones would work as well.

I have minimal details and pics in my build thread.

Lastly there are eccentric bolts that go from the lateral links to the subframe. Mine were siezed and i needed an alignment when i was done.

+1 for the lateral link adjustment bolts. They are always a pain in the but. Recently just swapped mine. I recommend spraying some penetrating oil up there every day for like a week before you tear anything apart. Anything to help. I ended up needing to cut mine off anyways even with spraying it.
