Happiness is a warm gun

Post by -K- »

I had a great day. I got to shoot a full auto AR-15 with a 22LR conversion, silencer and subsonic ammo. WOO HOO, I love shooting. If you have never shot a machine gun you are missing out on one of the funner things in life.

Just so some people don't freak out

I shot my friends semi-auto AR-15. Man, that things a blast. Nothing like squeezing off 30 rounds as fast as I can pull the trigger.

My favorite still and will always be the 12Gauge. Just point in the general direction of the target and boom. You'll hit it.

I like the tommy gun, my friend's dad is a gun collector in nebraska and we used to go shoot his guns out in the fields. The tommy gun you start out aiming at the ground and it works its way up. The Desert Eagle was fun also.

my personal favroites are 44 mags 357 mag mp5 and uzi. my friends dad is a colector and he let shoot the last 2 one day. the first 2 are another friend of mine. we also shot this short barrel rifle ( cant remember exactly what it was ) but it had a 60 round bannana clip on it, semi auto and hollow points.

id have to say though, contentment comes in a warm gun. im not sure what happiness is yet.

My ruger 10/22 is a blast. Need a bigger clip though. Could file one strategic part to make it fully auto but its one of those roun-tuits.

I do enjoy my 30-06. Nothing like blowing fist sized holes stuff, namely deer.

AK-type clones aren't too bad, I've deduced. I certainly would end up with a few.
I also seem to prefer .40s in pistols.. anything else was just too hard to handle.

That sounds like a sweet rifle. That much mass with just the 22LR must have felt like butter...*shudder with warm thoughts.

Some time ago I shot my buddies elephant gun. It's a simple bolt action rifle with a 10 round magzine. I don't remember the caliber but the bullets are as big around as my middle finger. I'm six foot, 190 lbs. The bullets are huge. The gun kicks like a horse and it will crack engine blocks with ease. What is the caliber, gun gurus?

There are plenty of different ones up there in overkill.
.416 or .458 would be my first guess.

That AR 22LR was fun, insane cyclic rate and no recoil to worry about.

MP5's are so expensive, try $15,000 at the least. I would recomend a MAC10 or 11 $2500 and with a stock on it they are ok to control. I'm talking about legal to own (depending on your State) the guy on the corner would be cheaper.

AR-15s are awesome, so comfortable to shoot. .454 revolvers are also fun.

shot my friends .45 sig sauer semi auto the other day, fun stuff. it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I'd like to get a gun of my own but its not very high on the list.
I'll probably get a 12 gauge and a .45, maybe a rifle if I ever get into hunting.

Lol.

The best balance pistol I've ever shot is my friend's Tarus Tracker .357 Mag. It's nice, put 38's in and it's like shooting a cap gun.

I'd get a Glock 37, but I've been told they're gov contract only. That was a while ago so it may not be true.

You don't need a gun to feel cool. :D
I do like the feel of a gun, it's comforting.
I enjoy shooting because all I think about is the target, breathing, sight picture. Everything else goes away. It's very calming for me.
