Auto Show in Los Angeles

Post by jamal »

Well, I got back in town yesterday for school after a nice relaxing break of skiing and drinking, and went to the auto show up the street. Here are some crappy pictures I took. The lighting and shiny cars and people walking around and a cheap camera make for a lot of pictures that don't turn out.

I wish I'd known about the Lamborghini concept because I didn't even bother getting through the crowd to see the exhibit.

I wanted to do the GT4 Subaru rally simulator but there was a huge line of little kids. Bastards.

This was neat:

I was hoping there'd be a 959 there again. I thought it was funny that the only turbocharged Porsche in the exhibit was the Cayenne.

Non-turbo, non-turbo, non-turbo, turbo!

M5. I-drive looks deceptively simple (but it pissed me right off after about 10 seconds):

I didn't really look around much in these general areas but the Buick fountain was neat:

More blurry pictures- Lotii, Ferrari, now with more spoilers, damn kids in line:

bmw I-drive is difficult to get the hang of. But once you do, it's pretty cool.

Were they asking for money to use the rally sim? They were at the Seattle show. Oddly enough it was running the Japanese GT4.
