Just bought a 94 turbo wagon

Post by urabusturbo »

for the last few months i have had my eye on a turbo wagon at the other end of my road that has not moved. I finally left a note on it and got a call back earlier today. It is a abm wagon with 152k and some pretty good Subaru style rust in the typical spots. It hasn't ran since November and it fired rite up with the jumper cables. No rod knock, no valve noise, no exhaust leaks, mechanically mint. The rust is pretty bad and will likely require new front fenders and tailgate. the rest of the car is very solid and the two mile drive to my house was very exhilarating, turbo kicks in with minimal lag and transmission shifts smooth. I got this beast for the low low price of $500 and with a healthy tune and couple weekends of body work it will be worth three times that at least.
So now i own a 94 abm sedan 200k unfinished project
92 white ss 112k bad 4eat otherwise mint paid $450
and now the wagon, The subaru trifecta is complete. i'll try to get pics of my babies together soon

i have been working on my new wagon all day now. I have swapped hoods from my sedan, added intake, boost gauge, removed super rusted out rear tailgate, removed seats for deep carpet cleaning, removed all stickers, compleatly degreased engine, removed snorkus, and diagnosed cel. Its giving my codes 35 and 49. Tomorrow is bondo time and hopefully i can find a cheap tailgate at a local junkyard. I am also gonna flush the tranny, change the oil and seafoam it. Is there anything else i should do when im motivated?
