I agree, black on black always looks sexy.

Are those General tires though??? Get better tires and you'll be amazed at how much better your car will handle, just from a set of tires.

noticed you used to be a honda person, same here.
The thing I miss about Hondas- less trips to gas station, and almost zero repair needs for the couple hundred thousand miles+

Subaru-lots trips to gas station, almost always need some repairs....upkeep.
But, power windows, good heat, AWD, and safety, good.

And doesn't dent when someone so much as sneezes directly at it.

Does any one have any suggestions on what else i could do to it?I'm thinking the motor needs more power.I't pretty much stock, took out platum plugs and put in new ngk's as suggested in other post and it did make a difference.Snokus removed.BOV.K&N filter.Air conditioner belt removed. But need some idea's for power.I also am running very lean @ idle.I have have been reading post about it running stock @ 8.9 or so psi,but for some reason it runs 6 or 7 through 1st to 3rd gear and 10 to 11 psi in forth and 5th.Is that normal,i do not have a boost controller either?

Well...first thing...if you are basing your AFR observations on a Narrowband Oxygen Sensor, you might as well throw it out the window, as it really doesn't do anything apart from look pretty. I would check for an exhaust leak around the turbo, because it should hit 8.7 psi in every gear.

As far as making more power...

1) Get a Walbro 255lph fuel pump
2) Get an intercooler of some variety
3) Maybe a larger turbo (vf10, vf8, TD05-16g)
4) Fuel Cut Defender (do a search on this one)
5) Bleeder-type boost controller

Notice that I numbered all of those things, meaning they should be done in that order, to preserve your engine. Also, I hope you don't actually plan to put nitrous on a turbocharged car, especially a stock one, it kinda seems like a silly idea to me, since you already have a device that oxygenates the mixture installed (i.e. the turbo)

Hope this is of some help
Nick

It still could, because your motor is under more load in 4th and 5th= more exhaust= more boost...

Let me know if you have any more questions...

My car had the problem of a faulty wastegate solenoid. It held 8.7 pounds in 1-3, but in 3rd under a heavy load the boost would work its way up to 13 or 14 pounds and fuel cut would kick in.

Just a thought to help you troubleshoot the problem.
