Custom Bumpers/ Light Bars/ Roof Racks
Hi Guys and Gals..
We are getting ready to start fabbing up some custom bumpers, light bars and roof racks for Legacies and Imprezas. These will be built from 1-1.5" DOM Tubing. We can ship them raw for the DIY crew, or powdercoated (many colors to choose from).
What kind of things would you be interested in for your cars? Bolt on only, or would some of you off roaders like a weld on type? Just getting the feelers out for what we should be focusing the most time and energy on..
Looking forward to your input.

I'd also like to see a light bar.
A local shop called Rallyinnovations sells light bars, but they have a tendancy to place the lights close together below the bumper. I decided to skip buying an expensive bar that doesn't put the lights where I want them and make my own mounts.
They vibrate a bit, so I have plans for channel shape mounts that I'll get around to making one of these days, but a reasonably priced bar that puts the lights above the bumper would be nice.

Make some stand offs behind them. I used rubber stoppers, ran screws through them and wind nutted them through the back of the grill. Just move the wing nut in or out to adjust.

Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
Those look like my first attempt at a light bracket, they moved WAY too much...Something like the Blair Witch Project..
They need to be mounted on the top and bottom of the beam in a "c" shape to work the best. Drill a hole through the works, large bolt, washers, and nut, you're golden. That was the style we used on the rally car. BUT, thats not a true "light bar", more of a light bracket.
We are talking tube here...

Sorry guys.. have been busy building rally cars, swapping RS>STis and getting ready to move to a bigger shop.. also a pretty special 91 SS swap a couple of months ago.
It's been pretty crazy for awhile..
Still want to help get everyone dialed in with their rides..

I'd like Integrated Lights in the radiator grille with a metal or carbon fibre (basically stronger) surround grill where the plastic one use to be. Should protect the radiator against stones, small birds, snakes, turtles, etc from damaging the radiator. My bumper is also beat up and I need a new one, including the rebar. I would like a bumper with fog light holes built into it. Integrate turn signal with fogs as well.
My vehicle is 1990 Subaru Legacy LS AWD sedan.

Re: Custom Bumpers/ Light Bars/ Roof Racks
I have been looking everywhere for custom bumpers and sideskirts. I have seen a purple first gen on the internet with a sick body kit, but the only place I found that makes kits for first gen legacies was aerotech in new zealand and they want 470 for just the front! Let me know what you can do for me and throw me some prices.

So no light bars were ever designed?
