Website colors & background

Post by Legacy777 »

I know I keep saying I need to update my site, but never do it. However I'm trying to at least fix the stupid contents menu that went dead in IE7, and possibly some of the other new browsers.

I was curious though, what would you think about me changing the subaru page background & text colors to what I have on the main page?

This color scheme we have right now is actually my favorite of all the boards I frequent. Its easy on the eyes.

I think he's talking about his own personal site... not this one ;)

Personally, I like the darker color of the Subaru page. Easier on the eyes for me.

I'm not a fan of backgrounds that aren't solid colors. The whole "marbleized" effect gives me a headache. The white marble on the main page isn't too bad, but the black subaru page doesn't help blend the frames in at all. That and the neon green reminds me of a website from the mid 90's.

I say change it to match the main page at least. Either that or pick colors that match the picture of the car on the Subaru page and help it blend in. You should also put a link to your image directory listing on the left side frame.

Yeah sorry....I meant my own personal page.

I hear you on the marblized background. The getting older thing has me squinting a little on funky colors.

I'm hoping to do away with the frames all together and get an integrated menu, just have to figure that out, and yes I need to update the entire site, including putting the image directory listing on there. It's just a lot easier said then done....and I really just haven't had much time to catch up lately.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
