auto trans interchange number info

Got by the LA Central Library Sunday for a look at the ADP Hollander
Interchange Manual

As a side note for you Auto Tranny drivers, here is some interchange
info;

1991 4WD Turbo ............59583 (oil cooler on 91?)
1992 -1994 4WD Turbo ......59683

And for the Torque Converter;
1991 4WD Turbo ............58265
1992 - 1994 4WD Turbo .....58265

curious how they break out 91 when it's supposed to be the same as 92-
94
maybe because it's the first MY or maybe cause there's little diffs
that don't affect the interchangeability

If we look at the SVX Torque Converter we find;
1992 - 1997 ...............58266

off by a single digit from the Turbo Legacy torque converter
bet you a dollar they are identical except for factory part number
I have read and heard several times the Turbo Legacy and SVX used the
same Auto Tranny
I have also read how the SVX tranny had several upgrades and factory
improvements year by year with kits available yet we only have one
interchange number for the SVX torque converter
wish I had checked out the number for the SVX trans model years
The SVX crowd is much hipper about the trans and trans mods because
all they got was an auto
