Does the driving position change with WRX seats?

Does the driving position change too much, as to make it
uncomfortable? I've read that the seat's height is too much, but if
it is so, why do people do this mod? Are new age and classic shape
LHD WRX and STi seats (the european type) different in height?

No its just the same with p1 seats , and the drivers one is height adjustable

I have them. The seats are very tall but driving position is OK.
Motorized seatbelt mounts must be swapped. Don't use them if you are
over 6' tall.

I had understood by reading some info, that even though the driver's
seat was height adjustable, the wrx/sti's seat lowest position was
still too high...so you mean that sti/wrx seats' lowest seat height
is just as low as the legacy's? (relative to the floor)

You will sit higher with the WRX seats......now how high....and is it uncomfortable.....beats me.

-dfullerton, I didn't quite understand that thing about the P1. did
you mean that wrx/sti and p1 seats fit with no problems?

I'm more confused now...are the seats or aren't they too high?
Oh and just in case I'm wondering about a BF legacy without that
bulge in the roof...so it isn't that roomy for the head inside.

now why do some people have and some don't have height probs? is it
maybe differences between european and american models?

check out the UK impreza P1 seat in my 94 legacy turbo wagon they fit sweet staight in and no hight problems
