So my friend was using my car and hit a curb. Long story short a bent wheel and what was thought be an easy fix of a control arm i got the parts.
Today another friend that runs a shop on the side was going to change the control arm for me. He started to undo the lower control arm and sheared the bolt for the rear attachment point. He says the front is going to do the same if he keeps wrenching on it. Is there any way to get this out now that there is no bolt head?

Re: need help asap
You have three options.
1) Take a washer and a nut and place the washer to the frame and put the nut to the washer and weld the nut to the broken bolt.
2) drill it out and retap the hole, sometimes you can get lucky and not damage the threads, if you do you can helicoil it.
3) cut the section out and weld a new nut in.
