If you buy a performance muffler like a magnaflow or similar and have a shop fabricate a pipe to hook or modify the existing axle back pipe, then you could use on the turbo setup. The only issue will be the step up in size for the turbo. I'd probably suggest getting a 3" inlet for the muffler and then step that size down for the axle back. Then when you get the turbo, a muffler shop can cut off the step down and just use 3".

So have started putting my motor back together I am bolting down the eagle rods to the crankshaft and two of the rods were not moving didn't understand it because all the specs checked out good well i moved the rods around and got one of them moving and the other was still stiff. I losened the arp bolts on it torqued it down to 38 instead of 43ftlbs and now it moves like the others but now i am Woundering if lowering the ftlbs on the arp bolts is safe to do or if anyone else has had this problem and what did they do to fix it?

Have you plasti-gaged the bearings for proper clearance? It sounds like you may have a clearance issue. Something is bent or not machined right etc.

I've finally got the head done a couple of months ago and now i have some money to put them on the motor. I am woundering if i should get arp bolt or some type of sti bolt? i am not going to have over 300hp on the motor so the sti bolt should work is their any problem with thead patteren or length? i have ej20tt head on ej22 block. Also some people are saying with the arp bolt that they need retighted after they been introduced to heat which then mean i would have to take out the camshafts to retight them and that sounds like a pain.

Don't know about the re-torquing part but i think the ARP kit for that particular build is like 100 bucks. I don't think STI head bolts will work but I could be wrong.

You don't need to retorque the ARP studs.

Unless you're going for more power, the stock head bolts are fine to use.
