Installed a four channel amp, modded the rear speaker covers, changed the spring in my mbc, and did the grounding mod.

Did the WRX (TR) seat upgrade and installed '98 GT (manual) seat belts. $140 seats/$25 seat belts/$20 parts...so <$200 for the upgrade not too bad. Re-used the stock trim and worked out OK.

The brake switch won't keep the car from starting. The starter interlock circuit might. Does the starter turn over at all, does it click, or do you hear nothing?

If you move the gear selector into N does it make any difference?

No it dosnt make a difference. Ive gotten it to start twice since I broke down...I just turn the key a bunch, and pump the break, and jiggle the gear selector in park all at once. That started it once. Then I just pushed the break a few times and turned the key a few times together and it started once that way.

For a few months its been having a starting issue. So I figured do the ground mod.. it cleaned some stuff up but not the starting issue.
The issue being----
normally happened when it was warm. And only like 25% of the time. Id turn the key and it would delay for 3 to 5 seconds before anything would happen. Then would start some time idd have to turn the key back and forth a few times but it would eventually start. The last few day I was afraid to shut my car off if I went anywhere.

Im gonna try the starter interlock relay right next to the break switch.... then try the ignition relay. Then the ignition switch.

I depinned and harvested the stock coil/ignitor wires from my EJ20G harness. Now I will be able to just plug stock pins/wires into my ECU and avoid cutting/soldiering under my dash for my 4ch ignition setup.
