Wouldn't it be easier to fix the leaks?

I've tried. Its the right front door seal mount, right at the front of the rain gutter. I've switched the seal mounts, switched the seal, and even tried permatex black rubber sealant on the body of the car, the windshield trim mount, and the seal mount. I've been dealing with it since around the big nw meet and I'm fed up with it.
If I do reshell it, I'll lose the abs (already disabled), the power antenna (came broken, I unplugged the motor), and the sunroof (doesn't work at all, glass is cracked, and the track or seal leak so I've taped the seal).

I've been in the process of pulling DOHC heads with the engine in the car. Getting the rear lower rocker cover bolt was... umm... not fun. Really miss the SOHC heads right now.

Lucky, I just realized I'm sitting at 172k. I remember last year I was really happy with only having 150k on my short block. I don't even know what kind of miles I have on my DOHC swap.

Made a reverse scoop out of some sheet metal and left over carbon wrap. Noticed that my temp gauge is slightly lower at all times.

Hey thats nice, Chris likey...

(Sunday) finally had the time to get my 92 ss back together for a smoke test to see if it would pass emissions.... had degreased and wire-brushed and brake-parts-cleanered the gunk off the exhaust where it was smoking before.

Started it up, 2 cranks after sitting for about 2mo! Smoked like a chimney for a good 10 mins as it burned off the gunk I couldnt reach and had knocked loose. Noticed I still had an oil drip ending up at the front of the oil pan, shit. Wish we had replaced the crank seal while we were in there, that's probably the culprit. At least it doesn't touch hot exhaust though... it looks like I can go get this thing registered again, sweet!

Late last night I finally got a replacement knock sensor and after some handy work with a yarn needle I know have a new functioning knock sensor (old one had the housing for it split down each side)

Again another night fix replaced my alternator. Has anyone else noticed a connection between the alt. and the brake light on the cluster? Before I had replaced the part my brake light was on like I had the ebrake pulled up and engaged (though mine doesn't work) but now that I changed my alt. the light has gone away.

Dankberries, I think you should invest in some sort of block heater if you don't have a garage.

I have a magnetic block heater but that didn't cut it. Is there a good spot for a freeze plug style?
