correct HG for ej22t/ej25d hybrid

Post by xbmxxx »

is this it? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cgt-c4262-040

I see the ej22e OEM gasket has a thickness of .023 (causes piston/head contact)
I see the ej22t OEM gasket has a thickness of .051 (causes very low compression)

the cometics in the link are .040 thick, with a 2.2 bore size. What would this give for a compression ratio?

thanks!

EDIT.
This site lists an EJ22t gasket in .030 as well as .040.

You're thinking of the ej222 (phase 2) head gasket, it can cause contact but many people on nasioc have run it for years with no issue on this type build.

The actual ej22e (phase 1) has the absolute wrong coolant port pattern for the heads.

The c4263 gasket is the correct one for the 22t.

Make sure you deck your head and block surfaces. You need machined surfaces to run the MLS gaskets.
