1993 Legacy SS ignitor wiring diagram?

does anyone have a diagram of the wiring going to/from the ignitor module? I am using WRX coilpacks on my hybrid along with a Robtune ECU so I need to get the spark signals to the coils.

You should be able to find the wiring diagrams you need in the 92 factory manual linked to in this thread.

Yeah, I have that but it doesn't specify which wire controls which cylinders. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong diagram.

Page 176 of 336 is the ECU I/O, and will give you the ignition control output. F47 pin 10 is for cylinders 1 & 2 and F47 pin 9 is for cylinders 3 & 4.

Use the information above with the diagram on page 181 of 336 to figure out the wiring for the specific cylinders.

Additionally, the diagram on page 304 of 336 will help if you have to modify any of the additional igniter wiring.

Shouldn't you run wires from the ecu to the coil on plugs? Or does it make no difference? I'm about to do this myself but I was told to run 4 new wires off the ej20g ecu to the cops and tap into the coil pack harness for power source and ground to the cop bolts.

If the COP's have igniters built into them, then yes you need to run four new wires from the ECU to the coils directly and bypass the existing igniter.

Yes I'm using 02+ wrx coil on plugs. Is that what you're using OP?

So whats easier? running the 4-2 ignition wiring method by PhyrraM or getting a patch harness and wiring in each COP. Im soon to be ordering my ej20g swap and am just wondering.

Yep 02+ WRX coils.

I spent a good few hours today trying to get the car to start with the COP and the USDM ECU. No luck.
