Heh i think i have an example of such a leg std :o its a baby blue 90 5speed fwd, roll up windows, no power locks, no cruise, no intermittent wipers, does have a rw defroster and a/c, but the roll panel beneath the truck is a solid color, so it appears to have two seperate lights. Didnt have hubcaps, just silver steelies :D

This is the car im wanting to put a turbo motor in :) there is also another almost identical one down the street i can get with a blown HG, only difference is its grey. Doesnt even say DL on the car.

Ill have to take some pics later.

I haven't read all of this thread, so if it was mentioned, sorry for mentioning again, but make sure the radiator from the turbo car fits on the 90. I've been reading that it won't fit in 90's for some reason. I have NO idea if this is true, so make sure it does before you put everything else in there. :)

the radiator didnt fit.... so we modified the car to make it fit  its easy as long as you have a cutting wheel and a welder.

i cut the metal that covers the radiator core support, and underneathit is 2 metal pedestals. i cut them off, and tired to shorten them, but they didnt want to work, so i took a couple pieces of the radiator core support cover thing (has holes in it too) and cut and welded them into place, after checking for fitment. i'll see if i can get pictures later but it will be hard to see because the car is put together....

*pictures* they dont show the completed project but you should get the jist of it.

Image

you cut these pedestal things down, or if your like me you mess them up and use part of the metal cover for the holes
Image

i dont have any finished product pictures, but you should be able to see with this one where the new "pedestals" were welded in at

im confused as hell now. Can you circle the pedastal's where they're attached to the frame. Is the lower radiator support something you can unbolt?

look at the very first picture and you'll see a couple square outlines on the left and right side of the picture, thats where they mount at. we cut the pedestal and metal cover off, the lower radiator support does not un-bolt, it has a metal cover that goes over the pedestals so you cant see them unless you cut the cover off. still confused?
