Do a search in the past messages. I believe it was Larry Witherspoon that has tried swapping the DOHC's on the EJ22T. I think there were some things that either didn't line up perfectly, or something.....do a search and you should be able to find some good info.

Hey guys - just joined the lsit the otehr day, as I am the soon to be new
owner of a sweet 91 Legacy turbo. Car is pearl white, lots of mileage
(159k), but all is original (except the clutch)...down to the exhaust and
turbo!

Many of you guys might remember my GC8 Impreza that ws first turbo'd, then
had a STi V4 swap in it. I sold it about a year ago and since I make my
daily grind tuning Subarus and selling the coolest parts for them, I wanted
to get back into it...this was my selection to tide me over till my other
love (Mitsubishi's) get the Evo here (I'm on the list), or until the Legacy
2.5 Turbo gets here (which I hear is damn near close to happeneing)

Not being able to leave well enough alone, I am looking at doing suspension
mods first. Already ahvea set of KYB's coming, now need to get springs. I
ahev heard that i can use ones for a GC6/8 without a problem, just want to
confirm. Or, am I better off with Legacy specific units? I know H&R offers
a set, btu I am not partial to theri springs at all.

Next question is downpipes: can I use one for a WRX? if so, I already ahve 2
coming to choose from (BPM and Syms)

thanks in advance guys!

You can bet we'll have a complete Legacy section on our site very soon now!

Hi Everyone

I live in Auckland, New Zealand and drive a '92 JDM BF5 (wagon). Has a few
mods here and there, done a P.B at the local strip of 13.99. not bad for
1450kg incl driver and a full tank of gas :)

You may want to check out www.bbs.legacycentral.org

We got tired of the yahoo setup, so Dave the other admin setup the
board. Also there is another rs liberty board too which has more people
in your neck of the woods. http://www.rslibertyclub.org/forums/

The U.S. did get the turbo models but they only came with 160 hp and no
intercooler!
