Nico,
What flywheel are you using? I'm interested in using that exedy twin disc setup when I do my 6-spd swap. Any chance you could weigh the clutch, pressure plate, & housing?
Thanks

ya for sure you dont need to spend as much as i had to, get this 15803HD its good for 400 wtq. best part is it drives like oem !Legacy777 wrote:I would venture it'll be around 330 wtq range.... The old motor was around 278 wtq, so we'll have to wait and see.
Thanks!
LOL ya i didnt even know the low key was in there after i seen it haha i seen a green old building i was like lets try. my exhaust is going to be tricky to make hush hush and stealth mod, but straight pipe i guess.FundamentalyConfused wrote:Ha ha, nice touch with the low key poster. lol That car is soo low key nobody will expect it to eat other cars.
What do you have planned for the exhaust? Is it going to let someone know at a red light that you could smoke them?
Alphius wrote:That car is just amazingly beautiful. I hope you don't mess with the exterior. I'd love to see it with a nice set of wheels and a hidden FMIC as the only exterior appearance changes.
Legacy777 wrote:He's going AWIC, so it should be pretty stealthy. Yeah if you keep it like that.....there will be a lot of people that go WTF just happened when it goes screaming by them.
ya i just could not let them go or walk away !Alphius wrote:I think those STi wheels will look great on there!
LOL man you love that car eh ! i have no clue what its about as much as you do !! need to google that haha....i wish i could own this car !!! i would TRADE MY SUBARU for it !!! no JOKE !evolutionmovement wrote:Are you fucking kidding me, your cousin owns a Montreal?! I love those cars! Wrote one into my 3rd book and it's one of the few cars I'd have in a small collection. Those V8's are one of the best sounding engines. A muscle car styled by an Italian is damn near perfect to me and I don't give a rat's ass if the live axle was considered unsophisticated in its day (its "more sophisticated" contemporaries are all old now, too)—it's beautiful, sounds amazing, is respectably quick, and is reasonably affordable (especially for a Gandini design).

Or if you'd rather deal localy there's Flo-Pro which is made in Red Deer. Nice guys up there, their mufflers flew off the shelf when the orders came in.

I thought mine was gonna be a sleeper. I hope you got a gopro camera to film this insanity at the track. Also want to see a track side video to see how quickly it changes direction. I imagine it will be eating up porshes and just about anything else.
BTW, That maserati is pretty BA! I have never seen one.

Torsion beam and MacPherson's aren't that bad when there isn't much weight. The biggest problem was the lack of power, so conserving momentum was paramount. You don't have that problem.
