My td04 intake Setup

Post by mTk »

Here is my intake setup for the td04 (crappy camera phone pics)

filter->turbo = aluminum
turbo->intake = Stainless
Silicone Elbows
Clocked compressor housing
Stock BOV and hoses

Still need to make my cooling setup... should be neat.

Nice. Real nice. An intercooler would look better instead of the big elbow though. 8)

Neat. Any chance you could be swayed to take some more detailed pictures of the inlet pipe and silicone elbow?

What power steering pump is that?

I'm gonna guess newer Impreza.... say late 90's?

As far as I can tell, the tdo4 is not noticeably laggier than the stock turbo, but i am also running 9.5:1 compression (long story)

Vrg3: the power steering pump came from a 98 outback, had to modify the brackets, but no biggie.

I'll try to get a real camera and take pictures of the inlet, believe it or not, it's a standard silcone elbow with reducer. I'll try to find the part #

any problems with the 9.5 cr? I am learning the ways of adding to the inlet and outlet of the turbo engine. as time and money get here I will add turbo header, larger injectors and larger throttle body. like to work on it myself. one day to track and see how quick it is.
